When is NYFW? This year sees a much shorter and compact schedule from Sept. 6 to Sept. 11. The event begins Friday, Sept. 6 with Telfar showing the first collection, and ends on Wednesday, Sept. 11 with Marc Jacobs closing the week.

 

Who will be there? Expect to see top models like Gigi and Bella Hadid strut their stuff on the catwalk, as well as Kaia Gerber and Winnie Harlow. There will also be a slew of Hollywood A-listers sitting front row at many events, which could feature Julianne Moore, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nina Dobrev, Chloe Grace Moretz, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson and many more. Of course, we can't forget music's hottest artists who will also be on hand at a number of events that week, including Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and more.

I’m prett sure she’ll be at Marc Jacobs. She’s been wearing a ton of him lately and she wore him lately in the CR fashion book shoot.

 

I sincerely don’t see why it’s not feasible for her to do this. She can fly over quick. She won’t be needed at every rehearsal either. I presume some of the them will just be for just the band warming up and working on timings.

Here we go again with the fashion against music. I can't understand this skimpy way of thinking. Like in life we cannot have a secondary passion and one is mandatory taking avantage of the other. And if somehow some of you will be disapointed with the show it will be because she took half a day to go to New York and enjoy another passion.

 

You know before, we didn't have the fashion aspect, and the fact that she was just always wearing a jacket didn't prevent her from doing River Deep and Love can move mountains for 10 years, increasing playback, doing average albums and basically doing nothing much than standing on an empty stage singing the same songs for 15 years.

 

I even think that fashion give her creativity, inspiration, and translate into her stage presence and we will see, into her music.

It's nice she gets so many buzz around her fashion stuff and it's great way to stay in the public's eye

when she is off stage, so in a way it's a very positive thing.

It seems she put a very clear line between music and fashion

But in a way, it evolved over its lifetime, with all the wacky faces and reality-bending angles she added to it. That’s what kept it so “fresh” 😝

I would love to be a fly on the wall with all these brainstorm sessions and fittings of all the outfits.

 

Think it truly is fun being around Celine.

 

They could easily post more of these sessions on her Instagram with them being around her.

But somehow I guess they are not 'allowed' but I think it will help her boost her socials much more.
