She is being praised by the most important fashion figures

and for her that's what that counts, not what her fans think.

 

She definitely cares what fans think but when it's something as unimportant as hair or clothes that has no impact in absolutely no fan's life it's ridiculous to even pay attention to any of those hate comments.

 

I personally don't care or understand high fashion so idc about those photos that much (especially when there's no accompanying interview) but it really doesn't affect my life in any way so? It was a nice little update while waiting for the start of the tour.

Judging her or anyone else that hard just because you don't like what they wear is ridiculous. The only reason I would really question her is if there was a legitimate story of her being a b**ch to someone or if she gave us a trap album (that's exactly where I draw the line, okay jk).

But hey, that's me. If some people feel so threatened that she wears crazy outfits as if it's the end of the world maybe Dave Platel wasn't that wrong back in 2003 when he told her that her fans need stability. But we're all adults with a life outside Celine so I still find that a ridiculous excuse for the obsessive hate that goes towards her every time she changes something on her.

You know what’s funny? That people hated her short blond hair to a point where she was forced to throw a full DVD production away and film it all again, but now all of sudden everybody loves this shoot. Ironic

 

For me it wasn’t the short hair it was the color, the bleached blonde I didn’t like.

Haha poor Céline being mistaken for her. That woman has no limits to how she behaves and she's too old to not have learnt that. Céline acts classy (except from her "inner circle" blunder).

I don’t mind daring stuff, but nothing disturbing, crazy and totally unfitting to the image that just doesn’t go in line with what she stood for all her career. It’s only natural and logical that a lot of her long time fans and followers will be confused and disappointed with what she does right now. I absolutely hate these pictures and just don’t understand what she was thinking, let alone the fact that they are not flattering at all. To me they are disturbing and scary. If some people consider this art, fine, but I don’t think that this is the artistic direction she should be heading towards.

Art or not, fact is that she is alienating a lot of her long time followers. After seeing these pics I am really wondering if I want to attend her upcoming concerts. The Alicia Keys pics are so much better and not disturbing or questionable. If they plan looks like this for her new music videos, then I don’t want any music videos from her at all. Sorry but it pushes me away from the artist I have always admired for her talent, hard work and down to earth mentality.

I really think some of you can't see that she is just being herself and having fun.

 

And some of you really have no clue what fashion is about.

 

This is just art. It's a character.

 

In the end she is just having her hair in a bun and wear sweatpants all day long.

 

This was just a day where she was working and having fun.

 

As if we all are that 'safe' during life. I'll bet all of you have some crazy pictures where you dressed up and act like someone else.

 

And seriously the 'when René was still there' talk needs to stop. It's over, new era.

René created Celine as we all know from the 90's. And now she is being herself.

I rather have 10 of these photoshoot, than 1 more safe 'People Magazine like shoot'

We can't speak for another person and surely not for a person no longer in this world unless we're all phsycic but trying to channel him to support your own opinions is just....

 

I am glad Céline doesn't read this forum and hope she doesn't pay any attention to comments in social media when people speak on René's behalf. That needs to end. Very disturbing.

Or..... maybe you are alienating yourself to Céline, holding on to an image that's from decades ago, which doesn't go with the woman she has become today. And she has become that woman because of all the stuff - good and bad - she has been through.

Sorry, but the pictures are horrible. Yes, she also had beautiful short hair in the early 90s, but this dark black hair is meh . Not my cup of tea, next...
