Celine on the cover of Hapers Bazaar Icons 2019 UK

everyone's talking about the hair but have you noticed the nails in the colored picture?

The Claws lol, they seem pretty long to me, she usually has them trimmed short so that's one of the things that stood out to me at first (after the hair).

 

I love this, it's not Celine, it's a total character.

I am amazed at some people's reaction to her "new behaviour". She's always taken risks fashion wise. In the 90ies she used to wear gowns that were mere meshes over her underwear - it's not like she's wearing sexually daring clothes now, even though it seems to be the norm for all the other women in showbiz.

 

Some people act like she's always been this prude correct housewife doing only Martha Stewart stuff plus constantly qouting the Bible and now all of a sudden sacrifices small animals on live streams with a burning swatstica behind her... people please get a grip!

It's sad coz it seems everytime she steps out of her (our?) comfortzone people go banas. She can't try new stuff before some conservative mind starts a rally against her.

 

She couldn't have her hair short and blonde (yes it wasn't ALWAYS good but why should fans decide?) but go back to long brown then everyone could "pew" breathe again.

She couldn't wear a bun but always wear a wig to look like the american Barbie norm (thank God she stills wear the bun!).

She can't have these eye brows, she can't have those.

She should show her body prefferably her legs - but she can't show them if "she's too thin" then attack her with concerns and upset.

She can't wear too bright colours or extravagant outfits but "go back" to black trousers and a blazer and dress like she's 80+.

 

 

No wonder her music has gotten stale and so booring. If she evolves people will go mad and bash her back right into place..

Love the pics. Would take “edgy” Celine over the housewife any day or the week.

 

Just can’t understand why Alicia Keys is on the cover of an “icon edition”. Surely there’s nobody more iconic that’s drawing breath than Celine. It’s actually bugged me a lot.

oh my gosh, I am living for this photoshoot. That picture of just her eyes ♥, if I saw that picture without any info I wouldn't have known it was her. She's a chameleon.

The video is quite haunting and beautiful, love the last shot. Is this how it was originally or did the fan add that music?

This might be because I'm a biased Celine fan but she stands out. You can just see her playing a part.

The Alicia Keys pics are so much better and not disturbing or questionable. If they plan looks like this for her new music videos, then I don’t want any music videos from her at all. Sorry but it pushes me away from the artist I have always admired for her talent, hard work and down to earth mentality.

She will never manage to please everyone, and I don't think she even tries.

She is being praised by the most important fashion figures

and for her that's what that counts, not what her fans think.

I love the fact she gets so much attention

for her fashion choices, more than ever before.

 

As for her blonde hairstyle, it just didn't match her facial's frame.

I hope she will indeed go for the short hair again (the ones that worked for her),

it gives her chic and freshness.

 

It seems that many people still have the vision of her conservative looks for LV/interviews

so they can't cope her Avant-garde looks at the moment.

 

I'm quite of a conservative person myself but hey, I actually find her last outfits cool! They have "saying".

and oh yes, if she evolves the same way with her music (and I do have strong

feelings for surprises with the new album), it will be too much for her conservative fans. I can't wait for that lol.
