We waited long enough for it , I hope it gets released or leaked, there is such an aura to that song.

Someone posted on the Celine Facebook fan group that the entire song leaked. Apparently the person who leaked it was going to post it on YouTube. Did any of you find it?

Been trying to find it since yesterday, nothing for the moment .

If some fans already have it/listened to it, that means that they gave money ? Or the guy just leaked the song ?

This leak is strange, as we know the song is supposed to get release in a project next year...

I hope it becomes available in the coming weeks because that 15 seconds snippet yesterday killed me and got me so excited about this song, even more than I was already. Knowing someone has the file and won’t share it RIGHT NOW is beyond me!

I’d rather it got leaked in full so atleast her fans all get to enjoy it… f*** Sony and f*** her team… they get a lot of money for doing f*** all these days… this wouldn’t have happened on Rene’s watch… but does happen on the watch of “ managers “ who is a (sound engineer for concerts ) and the other who is just a lurker and has those eyes and look, that either he’s up to no good, hasn’t got a f****** clue what he’s doing but happy to give it a go, or all of the above!

 

How they had the nerve or balls to give the go ahead to sign off on their names in the credits of this movie is f****** beyond me!

She literary has the greatest living jazz legends on that thing - Herbie, Christian, Terri Lyne - and Sony’s still keeping it in the vaults.

Me too. I think Sony might start dipping into the vaults if she’s away for an extended period of time. Plus it’s a thing catalog labels do around anniversaries, deal renewals, or copyright terminations (so that they can convince the artist to keep the rights rather than allowing them to revert; 35 years post release in the US).

Nothing makes me think. But if it actually is releasing someday, I wouldn't want to listen to the whole song about a year or two before. I want to support Céline a bit here, even if her team and Sony decided something dumb to release it so late. If I did listen to the snippet, it would take my excitement away, and honestly there's little to be excited for in Celiniacs' world. It always happens, some fans hear the song before its release, and then they come here and spoil it for us, by making positive or negative response, after that I, for on, am little to no excited for it. So yes, if it makes you feel weird that I don't want the whole song to be leaked, be it.

yes a Rarities Album or Collectors Series Volume II but with actual rarities.

Actually, it sounded from the Courage era. The way she pronounce the words and the singing style is really from themat era.

There's a chance Celine may never record ever again. Which means, whatever is in the vault, there's so many songs they can release before they run out. Instead of releasing full albums of songs, I'd rather they spread them out. It's depressing to think that once I have everything Celine has recorded there won't be any more. And if Sony has no interest in releasing the songs, then I wish somebody would leak them.

 

I'd kill for the Phil Spector recordings in high quality.

The obsession with this song has been quite something. I do hope it gets properly released (and that the snippets are representative of the whole).

Lyrically maybe not, but musically & production-wise, it has such a sweeping Bond feel. And I'm still holding out hope that a Bond theme might be in Celine's future. I know recently they've picked hip current acts, but that has not always been the case. Legends "past their commercial prime" have done Bond songs, too, and with great success. And it feels like Celine has been such a major omission in the Bond song cannon.
