I don't get how Celine is considerd "camp" here....the only time she was a litte camo for me was during 1F4T and a few fau as duringthe late 90's

Her persona is a little out there LOL but I dont think camp applies

And of course, the clothes.

 

That's why I really hope she not only attends, but performs - because she fits on so many levels.

Some celebrities aren't announced. You only know for sure once they hit the red carpet.

 

Actually, I just checked and not many people have been announced at all?

I was pretty sure Madonna was going to attend (she often does, so it seemed a given with her releasing the new album), but her name is nowhere to be found.

And none of Law's 'other girls' (Zendaya, Ariana, Anne etc.) seem to be attending.

 

Are they keeping many of them a surprise? Or will this year's edition be poorly attended?

Law just posted a video that he took from my insta lol. It's publicly available footage so it's no biggie, but I can tell by the cut that it's mine (not to mention that I tagged him right before he posted). Least he could've done was 'like' my video though

 

I'm glad he's posting about Céline though 😊 Maybe they will work together again? He did style her for the Ashes video and provided some outfits for last year's tour, so I'm not entirely sure why we're all assuming they no longer work together (?)

Hollywood Reporter piece from last month said she previously worked with Law. That's the only thing I remember seeing in terms of any kind of confirmation.

And when she has recently spoken about fashion etc she has mentioned Sydney and Pepe as her stylists...not Law. Which makes me said as it was him who helped start this revolution

Celine has always been bold and fearless with fashion and now in this new age of Instagram and Twitter, her fashion is highlighted to it's fullest.That's literally the only thing that's changed. Celine has been a fashion queen all along! Whether she works with Law, Pepe or whoever. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day because Celine's the boss and O.G. fashion queen and only wears what she approves anyways. #bossbaby #decisionmaker I can't wait to see if she attends the Met and what Celine and her team decide she will wear for the biggest night in fashion!

I get the "camp" side of her personality, the faces, the chest pumps and the theatrical way she performs... but I don't know if I would apply it to her fashion, even in recent years where she "explored" different styles and new designers.She sure had her moments (the wedding dress for starters) but overall I think, specially during the 90s she was pretty mild.
