Apparently she will be on the cover of Vogue!?!?

This is the original post from Vogue. Still not 1000% sure it will be celine.

But for what it's worth, John Nelson liked the post haha.

And there have been rumours about a Spring Paris visit for a long time now so who knows.

If it is Celine, I’m intrigued by Vogue saying ‘big comeback’. Does it mean comeback to vogue or comeback in the general career sense…

Is it weird that I can tell it’s definitely Celine by her feet :sofunny:

 

And now the documentary release of June 25 makes more sense if that’s the case…. We all know she receives buzz every time she’s attending fashion shows or doing her daily walk-outs.

Suddenly it makes so much sense!

The free press she is getting when she attending fashion week is insane.

A few days later releasing the documentary.

She doesn't need to do loads of interviews, guess there still will be a few. But her hotel runway will do most of it's work.

 

Maybe some new French music on it's way?

I definitely think she’s attending the MET.

 

Zendaya is a co-chair this year and they both work with Law.

 

Also, the press she receives from the daily fashion shows is way more than anything else.

This is incredibly exciting. I have to admit the press she gets from fashion week alone is probably more than she’d get if she went on a traditional press tour, mind you, if May is her “big comeback” month she’d definitely have the chance to do a lot more promo, even if it’s a bit early.

She definitely gets more organic press these days for her fashion than for her music, so this is certainly a smart move.

Wasn't the Courage tour also coming to an end this month?

I wonder if this signals the end of her performing or just a place to keep all of those gowns from over the years?

 

 

I don’t think it signals the end of her performing. She’s never going to wear these gowns again. They should be put to use instead of sitting in a warehouse.

I think it’s hilarious. And I think Celine would get a HUGE kick out of it. It’s a tribute. She stopped there on her way back to NYC. I love it. It’s not like they painted her face on the bottom of a urinal for people to pee on.

I think so. Unfortunately.

 

If this is Celine which all Indications point that way, could this be what her NYC visit was for? :hmm:

 

I also, think she may be back in town for the MET soon on May 6. With Zendaya having a say in this years guest list and Celine seeming to be gearing up for more appearances, it seems all plausible. I think law is going to be be styling both of his “girls”‘that night.

The Vogue picture does look a lot like her, but I don't want to set myself up for disappointment again. Thank God the reveal is tomorrow so we'll know soon enough.

Well, Vogue did use the phrase “she is making her big comeback” but I don’t want to get my hopes up. Could be just a “here’s a little runway moment and doc to tie you over until I can (maybe) get back on stage”.

 

If this is Celine which all Indications point that way, could this be what her NYC visit was for? :hmm:

Maybe it was shot there… still to your point a few days back, one would think they could shoot this anywhere convenient to Celine. She could’ve recorded the Olympics voice over in Vegas, and the probable vogue photoshoot there as well. The fact that Celine is traveling is promising. I would assume someone suffering in a consistent manner with SPS would opt to not travel if necessary. Also, she’s rumored to travel to Paris in the coming weeks/months ( a long a very tiring trip even for the healthiest of us).

 

With all the recent appearances at the Grammys, hockey games, and the museum, indications are that hopefully Celine is in a place of at least having the proper treatments keep the symptoms at bay or at a very minimal impact.

 

Whether this translates into a stage comeback or even a recording comeback is still unknown.

However … it’s very promising, something that even this time last year we didn’t even know if she could walk without assistance, let alone parading around in heels at least twice in public since.

Cass Bird the photographer/artist/director is from NYC. Of course she can travel, but at this point it's just connecting dots. :)

 

I definitely don't want to get my hopes up. But with all that is happening lately and all those rumors(wishful thinking) of everyone makes me excited.

I don’t read fashion magazines, but a cover is typically accompanied by a featured story, right? So we can expect an extended article (interview?) too, presumably?

Yes, in 2019 she did a cover for Elle with multiple looks and a article/interview.

My guess is that for Vogue it will be the same.

 

Did she ever graced the cover of Vogue before?

Just putting this out there…new deadpool trailer is also premiering tomorrow. Could be coincidence…. But it was quite successful the last time and would t be surprised if they do it again…. Timing is spot on.

A big reason in its success was the viral music video they shot with Deadpool dancing with Celine.
