Question: Has Celine ever sung Right In Front of You Live?

 

She sang it at La Fuerer in 2002(?) not sure if it was lipped or live though.

 

 

I heard on the radio today that there will be a charity album with Michael Jackson covers, one of the names I heard that may be included was Whitney Houston. Maybe Celine will join? I didn't want to start a new topic since I don't know much about this

Thanks! Don't think that was live. I may not always be able to tell whether something is live or not but I'm pretty sure that that was lipped to a shortened album version. But I think everything else that night was live.

 

I also heard about the MJ thing on the radio and that it may include Whitney. I hope it also includes Celine...

 

Oh I see you made a second post. It does not look like it will include Celine.

Imagine this...

 

Oprah has announced a new contest surrounding the release of a new album by a well-known, very well established artist. The artist is: Celine Dion!!! (Yeah!!!).

 

This contest is only open to amateur songwriters/musicians with no published works (no professional/established songwriters/musicians). Fans would submit their works to the Oprah WInfrey show to be reviewed by Oprah's staff and professionals who have worked with Celine (i.e David Foster, Dianne Warren, etc.) to narrow down to 25 finalist. The 25 finalist will then participate in workshops where they work with the professionals to fine tune their works which are then presented to Celine. Celine will decide the final cut for the album. The winners will realize their dreams only when Celine sings a portion of the chosen songs on a special episode of the Oprah Winfrey show (Maybe one of her "Wildest Dreams" shows).

 

If you participated in this contest, what would you name the album and what would your song be (Song title and lyrics)?

 

I guess I should start this off. I've been thinking about this for a long time, so I have several songs to choose from. Lately I've been stuck on there being a little more "edge" to what I've been writing. One particular song is titled "A New Day Will Begin" (Of course this may change considering ) Anyway, my lyrics would begin as such

I´ve had a weird feeling all day that we are about to receive some big news about Céline.

On my way to work, I felt really excited about Céline but I´ve got no clue what it is.

AND, if it did, how did it get back in the US without flightaawea telling me?? I've just received an email and for me the plane is in Ireland and now is going to Seattle!

RC won't be homeschooling(or tourschooling ) anymore. He will begin regular school this year. In Bombardier's book, she says Céline visited the school and everything to insure herself that it would correspond to the pedagogy she wants for René-Charles. Because she didn't like school when she was younger, I think it was very important for her to check that and wanting the best for him.

 

 

What grade will he be going into this year? I would have thought she would have continued his homeschooling. I think it would be a risk putting him in a public school or is it private? Will he have bodyguards or someone to watch him all day? I'm thinking she wouldn't just leave him by himself............

Why not? Why would he need a bodyguard just to go to school? He is just an 8 year old going to school. There is no reason for him to need a bodyguard behind his back for 7-8 hours a day. All that will do is seclude him from everyone else and prevent him from making friends.

I think he will definetly go to a private school.

 

There will be other kids there with parent´s who have loads of money and there will be security for the entire school. So I don´t think he would need a bodyguard.

 

 

When RC is out with Linda and Alain, like when Céline was touring, did they have a bodyguard with them? (when Céline was not around)

That's what I meant. He's not just any student, he's well-known because of his mother. I'm sure that she would provide him protection even if the school does because she would want him to have someone around that he's comfortable with. If he did have bodyguards, they wouldn't be right on top of him, they would probably just be close by. It's perfectly understandable for him to have bg's because she would want to protect her ONLY child. Besides, this might just be for him to decide if he likes regular school or homeschooling. He might want to be at home with his mother and father. Like Celine said, you learn what you need for life from friends and family and those around you.

I agree. I'm a fan of Reba McEntire, and her son just graduated from High School, he went to private school where he was around others that were children of celebrities and/or had a lot of money - to them that's just the norm. I don't know personally, but it appears that he lived the "normal life". He lives at home, drove to school, has friends, has a girlfriend, has Facebook with the typical pictures and comments, Reba and family went to his graduation. I've never seen bodyguards around him. He lives a typical teenager life, he's just around a higher status of people and I believe the same will be true with Rene-Charles.

I think I would die if she sent a bodyguard or two with him to school. Seriously? That's over the top. Send him to a different, private school, that's fine, but having a bodyguard?? If I were her, I would be trying to give him the most normal life possible, and that certainly isn't.

Jupiter is home to the super rich and famous. For sure there are many very prestigious and secure private schools. One of the points of going to a private school is safety. Privately funded schools are able to do things to protect students that public schools couldn't. Obviously Montreal has many of these schools, too. A rich community without a good private school is like a hotel without any rooms. Anyway, we heard that Celine herself toured a school to make sure it was up to par. I'll bet lots of money that she would never do something like send him to school with a body guard. Dropping off and picking up, yes, but during school? No.

Yeah, and it's making strange paterns...

 

It flew from Shannon, Ireland to Seattle, Boeing Field, from Seattle it has flown back to Salt Lake City and now it's scheduled to leave for Bradley...

 

The BFI-SLC-BDL route is the same in reverse than when it left the US.

 

While it flew to LIS in Portugal from BFI on the outward leg it came in from SNN in Ireland.

 

So it has probably flown arround in the EU before returning to the US... To bad we don't have the same trackingsites in the EU then in the US

This website is a bit weird because I didn't receive an email to say that the plan arrived in Portugal and now apparently is in Ireland!

 

US based sites are not capable to track planes outside the US so you'll never get accurate data from flights outside the US.

 

Outside the US there are few sites capable to track flights, probably since I suppose that it isn't allowed. However you can "track" a current approximate location due the ACARS system which sends out messages and ID's including locations. However, to do this you'll need a antenna, a groundstation, software to decode it and when you want to make it public you'll have to be connected to a network like acarsd. But disadvantage of this system is that all the ground stations have a limited radius so'll you'll be able to track planes in the direct proximity of this station but not what's flying xxx miles further. And since only die hard aviation enthousiast are doing this (a ground station to connect with a pc can cost about 750 USD) there isn't a complete coverage of the full EU...

 

A quick look into the database is telling me that nobody picked up the plane when flying in the EU.
