Was the performance of The Reason at the Lottery Show live or not? I've heard people say it wasn't, but it wasn't the CD version nor the version she used on her tour, so I thought it's kinda strange it'd be lipped. :/

 

 

The Lottery show was live.

When she sang TR on Talking Telephone Numbers (during the same promotional tour) it was mimed, but the same day she sang on the Royal Variety which was live.

 

Do you have video (or know of any) of the Royal Variety performance? I've been looking for a few weeks and have had no luck.

 

Yeah i've got it on video somewhere. She wore that black dress (really wish she hadn't tho - The Queen thinks black is for funerals/mourning - and she sang BYLM + TR live. Think i taped from Des O'Connor introducing her, her performance, everyone going back on stage and singing for The Queen and Prince Phillip The Anniversary Waltz, and then her meeting The Queen backstage. Ages since i've watched that!!

I was reading My story My dream and in the beginning she´s talking about buying stuff, she loves to shop we all know that but..

 

Does she go to the grocery store like other people? I would think she has someone from her household to do that..

 

But like when she bought her painting stuff, do you think she ordered it, got someone to buy it for her or go get it her self?

 

And Jewlery and Clothes..

Does she get stuff delivered to her house as well as the jewlery?

We saw her having a "jewlery" party in the Las Vegas DVD, but is it always like that?

 

I do know she shops in NYC, Paris.. but between that,,, how does she get her stuff.. we rarely or never see her do any regular shopping

Well for her clothes, I'm sure her stylist Annie keeps an eye out for things she thinks Céline would like from her favorite collections. Céline does go shopping on her own though. Annie prob brings things to her, at shoots they have racks of clothes and she could snatch something, etc.

 

For food, I would think that Alain and Linda would organize the menu and either shop themselves or they might have runners to go do that even for them. I know that she wants to settle and relax in FL now, was talking about having a garden, etc, so she will prob. step out more and do things like that unless she hates doing it. I dunno. I haven't really heard of anyone seeing her randomly in a supermarket, but I would think she wouldn't be opposed to it.

UGH I read online something negative about Céline.

 

This guy said that he hated Céline and that when she did some guitar solo, that it made her hate her even more.

 

More people agreed with him.. and a person from Canada said that the Francophone part of Canada is seen the same way as USA sees hillibillies in USA- and that explanes a lot about Céline and how she acts.

 

This makes me so mad.

"The biggest problem I had was when you go to school to learn English, they teach you the prefect way: 'How do you do?' and 'How are you?' You are not wrong. She quit school and hasn´t regretted it. She thinks education is important but for her, she had a different goal.

 

Think she was 14 when she quit school

 

Céline actually has said in recent years that she regrets not finishing school. She said in an interview in 2003 that she would like to be able to write better in French and that writing in English is easier for her. I believe the interview was on Primetime with Cynthia McFadden.

Guitar solo? Do they mean when she pretended to play the guitar in that one Ten Days performance? That was a little silly, but it was cute and not that horrible.

I wonder if Celine knows she was stood next to the late, great Ronnie B??? I'd have loved to have met him.

I was trying to "star spot" while i was watching it - so far i've seen Michael Bolton, Michael Ball, Spice Girls, Jim Davidson, Joe Pasquale - who i'm seeing in a couple of weeks - Maureen from Driving School - OMG!!, and Harry Hill. Oh the memories!!
