Yes, it´s the 1996 WMA. That´s how I found the video from seeing it on TV.

I noticed how Céline looked like..

 

She should keep on changing her looks so we know how to search for her on Youtube :laugh:

Ok, so I just got done watching the movie, Celine, about her life and a part in there had Rene having a heart attack when he was with Celine. Did he ever have a heart attack when he was with Celine? I want to say no but I'm not sure.......I thought the movie was pretty good but the only thing that urked me was the dates were all wrong. :( Any help with answering this would be great!

Céline rushed with him to the hospital, in her swimmingsuit.. She didn´t relize what she was wearing until she was at the hospital :giggle:

Oh......................Now, I remember. That was in My Story My Dream, when the heat started bothering him at the pool and he went up to their room to lie down and she said she knew something was wrong because he loves the sun......yeah ok, thanks!

I think it was around the time of Beauty and the Beast being released and Celine just starting to make a dent in the industry.

It was in 1992, their love wasn't yet known to the world and Céline went to work to promote her new cd during René's recovery. She appeared on Regis and Kathie Lee at the time.

I remember seing Céline talking about "her manager" having a heart attack on this interview she did with them. I can't find the interview just yet on youtube but I have found the song she sang that morning :

She does their private sign at the end of the song (L.V.) It must have been so hard and stressful to have to go on those shows while her love was in the hospital. But René has said over the years that he wanted it that way, that it would have been more stressful for him if Céline didn't attend those TV shows he had booked for her.

Some streets in Montreal were cordoned off on Wednesday morning as thousands of people gathered outside Notre Dame Basilica to catch a glimpse of René-Charles Angelil.

The six-month-old son of Celine Dion and René Angelil was baptized in the same church where they were married in a spectacular show in 1994.

 

About 250 friends and family members were invited to the private affair, but the extended family of Dion's fans and a horde of photographers and journalists crowded the streets outside.

 

They cheered as the family arrived by limousine shortly after 10 a.m. – nearly 10 minutes late – and waited until after noon for them to re-emerge.

 

The baby reportedly fussed during the 40-minute ceremony. His long white gown and cap were removed before he was immersed in the baptismal font.

 

Following the Eastern rites of the Catholic Church, René-Charles received a combined baptism, first communion and confirmation.

 

Like his father, the six-month-old was baptized as a Greek Melkite Catholic. Many with Lebanese and Syrian roots are members of the Melkite Church, which has rites similar to the Greek Orthodox Church.

 

 

So I assume she is still catholic......they said the ceremony was only 40 minutes...why did they stay inside for another hour? it would have been over at about 10:40 give or take a few minutes....

 

Did the other guests come out of the church after 40 minutes? If not, maybe just the Baptism part was 40 minutes and they had a mass too? Because a typical Catholic mass can go from 40 minutes to an hour...I'd be surprised if they fit both a mass and Baptism into 40 minutes! Then again, I'm Roman Catholic (so is Celine, actually) but Rene is Greek Melkite Catholic so maybe they do things differently!? :shrug:

I'll have to dig out the video and see if it still works!! :giggle: Keep meaning to copy all my vids to dvd just in case the tapes stop working, but just don't get the time to. :shrug:

I have a question ? Does anyone know if celine has very gone to a ROCK AND ROLL concert.(as in hard rock)? I can't even think about her rockin out at these concerts I mean seeing her there in person.?

I don't know about a "hard" rock and roll concert exactly but I know that when she was a lot younger and long before she meet all of them she went to see Michael Jackson at the Olympic stadium in Montréal. She also saw Paul McCartney and also Elton John a long time ago too at the Montreal Forum.

Of course she didn't get the opportunity to go out often, working all the time and being very famous back home at such a young age. If she did see such a concert it would have to be when she was very young I think. Anyway that's all I remember for now.

 

I can see her rocking out very easily myself though, no problem! I'm sure she'd like that a lot! She's always like AC/DC for instance so..I know she wants to go out more during this break but as for going to a hard rock concert these days, I don't think so. :D but if RC wanted to go at one point then who knows, maybe!

Hi all i have lost loads of celine tracks from my laptop as i had it stolen along with my mp3 player :( while i was on the train.

I have got a new ones now as they were insured thank god!!!!!

Only thing is i have lost alot of tracks of celines that i no longer can find anywhere so i was wondering if anyone would be and could be as so kind to help me with them......im looking for

you and me - toi et moi the english and french versions but cant remember who they are a duet with

It seems that here plane finally moved again after some months...

 

First flight after the last one on March, 31 occured on July the 1st followed by 2 other flights on July 9 and July 10.

 

All 3 flights had no destination and left Bradley for a flight of 7 minutes, 54 minutes and 104 minutes.

 

It seemed that her airplane got an extensive maintenance / overhaul at Bombardier Aircraft Services on Bradley Airport.

 

It seems that we'll see her plane flying again in some time ;)
