I mean there was a rapper collaboration on the LMBTL vinyl on Save Your Soul.. not far fetched

 

The playlist was put in to tease at who the collaboration could be with, they put in multiple artists all of which are likely candidates, just because he chose all by myself means nothing.

 

Actually I think he chose “All by Myself” because it fits the playlist theme of loneliness (just look at the other songs) not because he wanted Céline on there.

I love the rap in Unison! The only part I can remember is something like, "now remember this Miss Celine dion!" LOL Just popped onto this topic to note that 6 years ago Une Seule Fois happened. I was not there but to me it still feels like just yesterday. Sadness cuz Rene was there then and isn't now, but still. Wow!

Unison is not a solo song.

That there is no rap part on the album is correct.

hmmmm actually i DO OWN the whole "unison" album on my digital music collection (& had bought the CD of that album back in the 90s!!!!!!) & there is NO RAPPING in that song either, it is a SOLO SONG too!!!!!! in fact on the whole "unison" album, there is NO DUETS @ all!! in fact it is one of the ONLY FEW ENGLISH ALBUMS where celine has no duets @ all: "unison", "falling into you", "a new day has come", "one heart", "miracle", & "taking chances"...

Therefore, Céline definitely agrees to anything Sony proposes and Sony can't really decide anything for her. Furthermore, if Céline wouldn't like what Sony does, she would just quit working with them. She doesn't need them, she's Céline Dion. It's probably Sony who wants her to stay and does whatever she wants.

 

Finally, Céline definitely agrees with Sony and likes working with them as she wrote that beautiful message when she was in New York for Met Gala. The one she signed "Céline and René".

I'll let the evidence speak for itself. Lack of support and promotion with her albums since 2003 at only 34 years old, lack of promotion or worst single choices, no videoclips today to support her singles, a mysterious (even with the air of a boycott) refusal to play her music in radios since 2004 all of a sudden...

 

Of course this has nothing to do with her hard work as a performing artist to achieve the legend status she has today, thanks to her thousands of shows in all these years, but in terms of support from her record label, any other artist would have slammed the door to them and looked for another record company who treated her music better

 

Also there are contracts in between, who knows for how many albums, because this is not a question of time but a question of how many albums she has to release yet with Sony, no matter if it's in 2, 5 or 20 years. And also there's a lot of money involved in Céline's back catalogue with Sony Music, she's been with them since 1990 and there's also a lot of people from Sony working around Céline, exclusive producers hired by Sony to begin with, who have been with her even since late 80s. It's not that easy to leave, and Céline probably doesn't even want to or just doesn't care.

 

It's sad, but this is just the nasty small print in the music business contracts.

But those are not *albums* my main point is people say “we’ve been waiting 6 years for an album” but when the TC ve LMBTL Argument is brought up we discuss whats been released in between, but from LMBTL to Courage we dont get the same leverage to discuss what came between. Im not wrong, my main point is we have waited this long for an album, so people need to stop complaining. Im not wrong, maybe youre just reading into what im saying too much. Im not gonna cause a whole argument with you, im done.
