Haha. I doubt it, she's not that pretty.

Still funny though.

 

It's nice to see Celine brought up so frequently in these tributes in the press. Just to be thought of in the same league as Aretha...well there are very few people at that echelon. And Celine is clearly widely considered to be one of them, which is always nice to see from the broader public.

If I remember correctly, Celine said it in a French tv show called "Taratata" during the "D'eux" promo tour but I'm not sure at all.. 😔

I believe it was a mistake on a press release form, where it said Celine recorded Natural Woman as a duet with Aretha for either the tribute to Tapestry or FIY.

exactly. the host asked Celine about a possible collaboration with Aretha, Celine said that she could not talk about it, but it was a wish and a possibility. As i understand, they wanted to(as in Celine wanted ) , but i don't think they made it in the end.

Ever heard about / seen this documentary?

 

 

Wonder if Céline's in there.

 

For those of you who don't know: He was a star in the world of make up. Gone much too soon in 2002. He's the one who transformed Céline into Callas.

 

There is also a book of 2003 about him. But strangely on the original it's not Céline on the cover , neither in the book (according to the content overview). So maybe some evil soul photoshopped this ... or the book was republished.

 

Specific informations about this would be highly appreciated.

Céline may be a public figure, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have the right to a private life. I don't think she would feel comfortable with her fans discussing something like that tbh.

Im only asking because I read an interview in 2012 about her and Rene and thier intimacy which was translated from french to english. I just thought i wonder if they were intimate even when rene was sick because back in 1999 i read an interview that Celine said while rene was recovering all they were doing was making love playing golf watching tv movies thats why im asking.

Im honestly not trying to sound weird but i found this article from 2012 of Celine talking about their intimacy im sure Celine still misses those intimate moments with Rene. He will always be with her.

Cause in 1999 when rene was ill they were really intimate i was just wondering if it was the same this time around considering he was basically on bed rest most of the time. The first article i found is from 1999 and the other is from 2012

Hey guys do you think Celine will perform at the Aretha Franklin tribute concert in November i read alot of special guest will be performing i wonder if Celine will since they performed together in the 90s when Celine did that show witth Mariah Carey Shania Twain and Carole King. I hope she performs at it what do you guys think.

It’s only because Celine saw love as something much more than just sex. If your partner “couldn’t” for what ever reason would you leave them? If your answer is yes then..... words fail me, sorry. That’s what she meant by that. It’s not about how often you do it! 😏
