I've got it bad today! All I want to listen to, making plans to watch nothing but celine tonight, and do a little a celine shopping. I'm trying to find that high I got in August! <3

I recently went on vacation to Niagara Falls and I didn't get a chance to visit the Louis Tussaud wax museum. There was also another wax museum there called Movieland wax museum of the stars.

 

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum could tell me if there is a Celine Dion wax figure in the Louis Tussaud wax museum or the Movieland wax museum in Niagara Falls?

 

I know I have seen a few ugly wax figures of Celine online that don't look anything like her. I was thinking to myself that the Louis Tussaud wax museum and Movieland museum look like one of the places that might make one of those ugly looking Celine statues.

 

Judging from what I have seen from the outside of the museums, It's not the same quality as Madame Tussaud. I was still really curious to go in and take a look just for fun and to also see if they had a Celine wax statue, but I was only there for 2 days and decided to do other things.

 

If anyone knows if there is a Celine Dion wax statue in Niagara Falls I would appreciate it if you could let me know. :)

 

 

I found some pics and it looks like Celine does have a wax figure at the Louise Tussaud wax museum in Niagara Falls.

Clearly Celine herself didn't pose for this wax figure. LOL. It looks nothing like her. Maybe a little, but they managed to make all of Celine's pretty features ugly.

 

This statue is a little more flattering atleast.

It is from the same museum in Niagara falls. I don't know why there is two different statues. I think maybe this is the newer version that replaced that other one?

 

I know you must all be thinking what I am thinking though, Why does that girl in the picture with the Celine statue have her hand directly on Celine's breast? :shrug: :laugh:

Maybe it's an artistic rendering of what Celine would look like if she hadn't enjoyed singing on the kitchen table. It's Wal-Mart Employee Celine.

A name tag is needed otherwise people won't understand who the statue is supposed to be :P

 

Shame, but that lady standing next to this wax thing, really think that was Celine? It's almost as if she believes it is a Celine wax figure, still puts her arm around "Celine's" shoulders, shame.Can see a mile off it's not her. Please, i'm not meaning to be nasty at all, sorry..... :) :)

He is Peter Jennings. He was a news broadcaster.

 

I don't know why they have him placed beside Celine because I am pretty sure he has never even interviewed Celine before and has nothing to do with her. It would have made more sense to have Leonardo Dicaprio, James Cameron, James Horner, or Rene next to her.

 

It doesn't matter anyways because the thing looks nothing like her anyways, so it's all down hill from there. LOL.

Someone on this forum posted a while ago that Nick is not Celine's Head of security anymore and that Jeremy is Head of security now. Is this true? If so, does Nick still work for Celine?

 

I hope he is still her bodyguard. I have always liked Nick. I would be kind of sad if he were not a part of her security team anymore. :down:

I know this is not the place for politics, but this article made me a little angry. Why does it always have to come down to race? I'm so over the race card. This is why there are still so many problems in this world. SOMEONE always has to bring attention to race, thus continuing to make racism a bigger issue. I'm not blind to the fact that it does still unfortunately exist, but the more we play into it, the longer it will stick around. It just needs to stop, and it won't stop if people keep making everything about skin color.

I don't know.... I agree with what your saying.... But I do think there is a difference when it comes to voices.... They often do sound different...

 

I think it was carol king who said celines voice was amazing for a white woman.... And I kind of get what she was saying... White woman usually have less powerful voices....

Yes, I do understand that. But that's not the issue. The issue is this "journalist" (and I use the term loosely) taking music and segregating it genre by genre based on singers' skin color. It's not right. To call out racial exclusivity when it comes to music genre is ridiculous. To say someone is "too white" to have their voice considered soulful enough for r&b or "too black" to top the charts with a pop song is preposterous. Whitney Houston was first thought to be a white woman singing on the radio before people knew what she looked like. She wasn't shunned from being a chart topping pop songstress when the public found out she was black. If a white man can rap his #ss off, and do it well...let him be. If a black woman can top the charts with pop music, let's celebrate it. Not because of skin color though, but because we are appreciating the music. Music is the one universal language that should have no barriers.
