Ok, so I recorded the whole Jan 4th show with my Iphone 4, and for some reason it won't play and it won't transfer to my laptop. Does anyone know why?

It might be a problem of the format of the files. Did you record audio or video? Maybe using iTunes would work.

I recorded Audio. All the previous recordings are working, aswell as the one i did after the show. It's just the one from the show that's not working.. It's like its broken or something, but I don't understand how that could've happened.

I just wanted to say that René confirmed to Le Journal de Quebec that Celine will not be at the oscars this year and will not be at the olympics opening ceremony in London.

He said she will probably never do Olympics ever again. Because he said it would be impossible to do better than what she did in Atlanta in 1996. He says its better to keep the memories of a great performance instead of wanting to do as good.

Céline new interview is in french magazine TETU. I´m not good in french but what I understand: It´s gay magazine so it´s about gays, If she think she is gay icone, about gay marriages and adoptions and also about new stars in music (she mentioned Rihanna and Lady Gaga that they have amazingt carriers) and also about her dreams = cinema.

It´s really great to read something diffrent than in her recent interviews.

I don’t go home in the evening telling myself that I’m an icon. I do a show and I know there are a lot of gays in the audience. Everything I do is based on emotion. I work with a lot of gays and personally I feel very close to them and their sensitivity.

 

A LOT OF FAMOUS TRANSVESTITES AROUND THE WORLD IMITATE YOU. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT?

It’s a nice compliment. If they imitate you, if they work on your and watch you to be able to reproduce all your gestures it’s because they love you. If they didn’t they wouldn’t spend hours watching you.

 

WHEN DID YOU FIRST CONFRONT HOMOSECUALITY IN YOUR LIFE?

I began working in this business when I was very young. In show business there are a lot of gays. A lot of make-up artists, stylists and hairdressers are gay. I was bathed in it all straight away. It’s not 2 worlds. Since I was 12 years old I worked with people who have made me who I am, who have helped me. Gays have a special way of perceiving people and they don’t want you to be perfect. They give you their talent. I never found myself asking myself any questions. It didn’t make any difference. If I love someone, whether they are gay or not, it doesn’t make any difference.

 

IN CANADA, CERTAIN AMERICAN STATES, IN BELGIUM, HOMOSEXUAL COUPLES HAVE THE RIGHT TO MARRY. NOT IN FRANCEE. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

It should be possible, because when you are gay you should be able to get married if you want to. We should be able to marry the person that we want, that we love. But it’s a personal choice, very personal.

 

AND ADOPTION, ARE YOU FOR IT?

Yes. There are so many un-loved, abused and orphaned children.... Whether it’s 2 men or 2 women who want to rais a child to have values, love and security. Gays are good, some others not so good. It’s the same for heterosexuals so there’s no reason to refuse 2 men or 2 women adopting children.

 

WHY COME BACK TO LAS VEGAS AFTER PREVIOUSLY SPENDING 5 YEARS HERE?

(She sighed) I did 5 years here, a world tour. I wanted to have another child, take a break and Caesars Palace asked us to come back. Combining my passion for singing and the children it was the best choice. If I had to make a choice, I would stay home in the house in my pyjamas with my children. But to do the two, it’s ideal. I have 2 eight month old babies and a 10 year old big boy. I come home every evening and I work 4 days per week.

 

SO IT’S A NORMAL JOB. YOU GO OUT TO SING LIKE YOU WERE GOING TO THE OFFICE AND AFTERWARDS YOU RETURN HOME

Even though, I don’t spend 8 or 9 hours working! It’s really lucky!

 

ADVICE TO GIVE FOR LONGEVITY OF NEW POP STARS

I don’t have any advice to give. If you think about Rihanna or Lady Gaga, they’ve already got incredible careers. You just have to continue to give the best of yourself, be different because there’s always new talent and you should feel like adversaries. It’s ungrateful, you know. You have to be good, nice, have charisma, character and be beautiful.... talent alone is not enough!

 

DO YOU STILL HAVE A DREAM?

Film. On a professional level it’s film! I’ve had a lot of offers, but at the moment it’s not the right thing.

Sorry, i know this is now something completely different. I see that Megaupload has been shut down, and the 4 or 5 men arrested in New Zealand. There were sooooo many Celine songs and concerts on there. Now What? I wonder where we will be able to get Celines music now, a lot of people used to upload Celines stuff onto there.

Sorry, i know this is now something completely different. I see that Megaupload has been shut down, and the 4 or 5 men arrested in New Zealand. There were sooooo many Celine songs and concerts on there. Now What? I wonder where we will be able to get Celines music now, a lot of people used to upload Celines stuff onto there.

 

I did think about that as well, but don't worry, there's still tons of Celine material we can download from this forum (Multimedia Section), and then we also have Mediafire (which is even easier to use than Megaupload) and YouTube downloaders. So we'll get over this.
