I've just downloaded the TV special. There were 2 different shows: the one to celebrate the launch of the album and another one at the Metropolis club, both were lipped, but still great show! :clap:

 

By the way, and changing to something completely different; where can I find the Le bues du businessman performance from Au rhytme des ameriques?

Here is my question: What will happen with Celine's house in Florida when she will move in Vegas in Febuary?

 

I know she can afford to have more than 2 'home', but it's crazy; one in Florida, one in LV , one in QC, and apparently another one in France.

Hello every one,

This is (definitely) not a topic to bash Celine.

The thing is that both MHWGO studio versions are exactly the same, voice wise (plus or minus some effects) except for the very last note. Anyone knows the story behind it ? Which one's real, which one's been modified to give the second version ?

Is one of them really the one she sang in front of James Cameron etc. ?

What I've heard many times from Céline and René is that, I think it was James Horner, proposed Céline to sing the song one day at Caesars and since he doesn't sing really well, Céline didn't like it, she didn't like the song and was making sings to René telling him that she hated the song and that she didn't want to do it. So, René offered to James or whoever was sining to stop because it wasn't helping his cause and proposed that Céline could do a demo. So, that day, René dragged Céline in the studio. Usually, when she sings, she doesn't drink coffee but she wasn't taking it too seriously, so she asked René to bring her a cup of black coffee, two sugars. That's why her voice is sort of shaking. She recorded it, only once and that's the version that we hear everywhere.

 

This is the story that Céline and René tell everywhere, the only version I know. I know for sure though that she only recorded it once.

I think you are wrong.

 

There is the movie version and there is the LTAL versions (and if you want to be really specific there is the Vegas Version and the Boston version lol).

 

The movie version is the demo and the first time she recorded it. She says this is the only time she recorded the song. True in that for the demo version, it was the only time she recorded it. But she later re-recorded it for the LTAL album version. There are differences in the vocals and in the music. It sounds more album appropriate.

One cannot say she re-recorded it. Apart from some backup vocals in the 2nd verse, and the last note, it's the exact same "version". The rest is just audio-technical changes.

My sister in law told me that at my nephew's beautillion, kind of a rite of passage into manhood for boys (opposite of the debutante thing for girls), the mother and son dance will be to. Celine's "Because You Loved Me" :cry: :wub: His father died when he was four but he has done some remarkable things in spite of it.

DCP is all I've listened to for a month or more! It's incredible- it is!

 

So that put me in the mood to watch some of the music videos from DCP.

 

If there is fringe attached to Céline to be twirled, it WILL be twirled and played like a guitar. Nothing has changed since she was 5 haha.

Hey guys,

 

ive been making my way through this topic to find an answer to my question(which I did, lol) but now reading some of the things written, I now have more questions, lol! I hope somebody can help me.

 

What happened in Vienna, to make Céline mad? Also, how do people know that she told René that he couldn't play certian games, and robin had to come from florida to vegas?
