Ahh, I may invest then, but I can't seem to find Sur Les Plaines in my region on Amazon. I live in the UK, and from what I'm finding, it seems it wasn't released in Europe. I could, however, just not be looking hard enough, lol!

If i were to buy the french DVDs like Sur Les Plaines and D'elles; would they have a English subtitle option? I really want to get them, but I don't speak French.

They're worth having even if you don't understand French! The Sur Les Plaines show is great :yes:

 

It is great but for the part in the studio, it's much better if you understand cause it's hilarious! But, the show is worth having even if you don't understand french. :) The DVD was released in France under the name ''Céline à Québec''.

Sorry to spam :shy: , but I forgot to ask: will Rene's new bio be brought out in English, I am dying to read it after I saw a video on youtube that somebody put up (a montage of Celine and Rene), and said the book inspired him/ her to make the video :)

Very good. Celine appeared on the Rosie show quite a few times....

Rosie was talking about her new show and she said it won't be anything like her old talk show, that she won't interview anyone, she is just going to talk about hot topics that are important to her. I guess that means Celine won't be making an appearance on Rosie's new show. :cry:

 

I think that Rosie's new show sounds alot like The View, but she won't have anyone to disagree with cuz it's a one woman show. I don't really like the sounds of where her show is going. I think it sound boring. I really think it's a shame that she isn't going to interview people cuz Celine & Rosie make such a good team and it would be really nice to see them both together again.

Just finished watching les années Celine Dion on musimax website.

I realized more after watching, how lucky and how blessed i am for living in the same era as Céline!

 

I really do think she's a gift from god. She's perfect!

I just bought a pair of new, really nice headphones. I can hear music like it never sounded before... but that isn't necessarily a good thing.

A lot of my Celine songs suddenly sound really cruddy. For example, the entire LTAL album sounds static-y... like it would if I had downloaded it illegally. But I didn't! I ripped the files onto my computer from the CD (and a new CD, at that).

But then, songs that have been remastered, like from the new edition of D'eux, sound great.

 

Is it just that the songs were recorded poorly? Poor recording nuances in songs like Et je t'aime encore that I've heard people discuss, but I had never noticed, are suddenly very clear.

Ah, it's amazing what you can hear with good headphones, isn't it?? Unfortunately, the good and the bad come out :confused:

It always cracks me up to see the look Céline gives it when t hey are walking to the playroom in the AND Québec bonus features. It's like... "Hello little bunny...." :ermm: . haha

I think one of the girls that was in the audience when they filmed Oprah in February said that she said that the bunny died. :down:

I particularly like her chubby cheeks in that video. Adorableeee! Esp. with the hair- she was glowing.
