Do ye mean ye havent bought tickets for the show? or are ye saying ye haven bought flight tickets? I have ticket for show but not flight/ hotel. Wont book them until ya december or something definetely

Thanks! That's what I figured I'll do too: translate a few pages a day. I've scanned through a couple pages more towards the end of the book and it looks like she goes a lot into Celine's health and her voice and stuff like that though.

I have a question that is related to Cher but indirectly is related to Celine because of a project I'm working on. Has anyone else here (Cher fans/enthusiast/people who know a whole lot about her) ever heard the/a story about Cher's mother having considered having an abortion while pregnant with Cher but deciding against it? I believe it was part of some trivia about Cher prior to an interview or something where they talked about celebrity successes. I just want to make sure before I include it as part of my project that it is something known by other people and not something I made up for some strange reason :o ) Edited by fyoung98

i've skipped ahead a little bit, but im still at the beginning. i've heard mixed things about this book, i don't think there is anything new in it. but its still interesting to read.

 

i want to get renes book next, the one with him and celine on the cover!

Yesterday my dad came to me and asked if I knew who was pregnant. I immediatly though "Céline", but wait, why would he care??

He made me guess who it was, and all I thought about was "Céline Céline, no wait he doesn't care Céline Céline" but it turned out to be my cousin.

 

Just now I went to US Weekly and I was like a kid opening a christmas present only to find out that I didn't get what I wished for. No Céline news.

 

Yup, I'm going :crazy:

Even if she is pregnant, I doubt it will be made public like that, just in a random magazine out of the blue. They will probably have an official press release and stuff. It looks like that other interview that they cancelled two weeks ago because she wasn't feeling well is not gonna happen anymore. We haven't heard anything about that and it is already Thursday tomorrow. Edited by Claudette

I have a question for all of you guys. Sorry if this is a stupid question but it has really been bugging me. Celine's song "Je T'aime Encore" on her album One Heart at certain parts doesn't really sound like her. Some parts it does, but at some other parts it really sounds like someone else. It might just be me, but I was wondering if it could possibly be a duet with someone and I wasen't aware of that? I know that probably isn't the case, but I just thought it sounded really different. Again, my apologies if this is a dumb question, but I'm just dying to know!

well I know that they mixed Celine's voice with kara's in Taking chances to make her sound younger and in Map to my heart, they mixed Celine's voice with "the girl who sang the demo" 's voice but it was never very noticeable and In this song it's 100% Celine :mellow:

Well, its not exactly that, Kara does some background vocals in Taking Chances, same as in Eyes On Me and Surprise Surprise, but that's not exactly to mix the voices. And what happens in Map To My Heart? I've never heard that :blink:

Ah no im just kidding, Her voice doesn't be mixed with anyone elses voice on tracks at all !!! its Celine's voice on its own with just backing singers also.

Why do topics get deleted for no reason at all? Earlier today someone made a topic about the piano versions of a few songs in CTTEOTW and now it is gone. WHY?! It's not closed, it's gone... The rules on this forum is a joke! You know what... What is the point of having 20 different threads about Through The Eyes of The World and other certain topics related to it get's closed. And other topics regarding other things as well also get removed. It's not even fun to be her when it's always like this, you never know if what you wrote will be here the next time you log in again. Most likely, it won't. Get it together, "forum".

I will go to Las Vegas next month and wanna see Celine's wax statue. I know that it's in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. But anyone knows where exactly is it? Is it open to the public or do i have to purchase a ticket? Thanks a lot!!
