Eh, the Grammy awards just don't favor people like Celine.

Alison Krauss is the top award winner, but her genre is Bluegrass. & really who's gonna beat her every year in the bluegrass category :lol:

If you have a somewhat obscure genre you have a much better chance :lol:

 

 

& if you also look at the awards Madonna has won, and many others, none of them are really the "prestigious" awards. However Celine has won multiple awards in the larger categories, so I guess you have to decide if quantity is better than quality.

 

Just after this years Grammies, when Beyonce won all those awards, I don't think much of the awards. Just made no sense to me.

Not saying she's a bad artist or anything but it just didn't seem right to me

 

Yeah I agree :ermm: I don't think she's a bad artist either, in fact, I used to listen to her before I became a Celine fan :giggle: but I don't think she should have won...what was it...6 awards or something...but that's just mine personal opinion and I'm sure she has done many great things that makes her deserve all the prizes, but to me it doesn't seems right either :ermm:

This is just making me more positive that she is pregnant.

 

She hasn't been seen for 2 months

She is doing a phone interview next week

and then the US Weekly propbably next week..

 

AND next week she would be 12 weeks pregnant if the 6th IVF was a success.

 

But I need to stop thinking about this

If there's an interview in next weeks US Weekly, Celine has probably already done the interview. They need time to publish it and all that. And if she told them she was pregnant, I'm 99% sure they'd announce it right away, not wait until their next issue came out! Every media source wants to make sure they're the first to break big news like that!! (And that's such a tacky tabloid, why would she break the news to them?)

Of course, that's IF she even is. And it's a very big "if." They said "plans for more children".. how you guys jump from that to "pregnancy announcement" I do not even know.

We need to be extremely positive and pray for the best. I do agree with you angelil78 that there is a good chance, due to the fact we have not seen her in 2 months, and she is doing a phone in interview.

 

How amazing would it be now if she announced it in the next few weeks!

Yeah I ask someone close to me and they said. If they have a "Virus" when they are pregnant, or is becoming pregnant is means they have morning sickness. :yes: :whistling:

I have a feeling this article will contain information they took from old articles that came out in the last couple of weeks. ''... time on the road...'' and ''future plans for children...'' sound like it comes from the ''Hello'' and ''People'' articles. Anyways, I doubt we will learn anything new.

 

I Love You: I doubt you will be in bed for 4 or 5 days if you just have morning sickness. From what Rene said it really sounded like she was sick.

OMG it would be so, so amazing! :wub: And I know we shouldn't get our hopes up too high, but it's so hard :shy: Agree with you Claudette and angelil78, the facts are really good and everything just seems to be so right this time :)

 

But I know it can lead to a big, BIG disappointment.............. :whee: :shy: :whee:

I think you can be too obsessed with Céline

I had the feeling I was becoming to obsessed with her so I backed off and took a break. I didn't follow her much online but bought her cd's.. well the TC cd was the only one that was released at that time and the Live in Las Vegas DVD, I bought that as well. I took a break for 2 years and missed the Taking Chances tour. I had to do it. I had spent way to much money on her and needed to prioritize my spending.

 

But now I am back, still obsessed but have a more healthy view of spending money on her (for me!!)

 

My only regret now is not seeing her on the tour but I didn't have the money to go. But instead I can go to see her in Las Vegas :) and meet some great people that I know very well and meet other people that I just got to know here at the forum :)

I was searching for some Celine singles on www.amazon.fr, and I've just found this:

It says that it's the Then you look at me CD single, but the cover that appears is the one that belongs to the I want you to need me single, I don't know what to do, it's my chance, 'cause Then you look at me is my all-time favourite Celine Dion song, and I'd love to get one of the hardest singles to find. What should I do?

It also says that it was released on april 5, 2000. I want you to need me was released on july 15, 2000, Then you look at me was suppoused to be released on December 1999.

 

I think I'm gonna buy it, what do you think?

Coz I'm wondering about the '52-pages booklet', is it really as good as it seems? Coz I was a little dissapointed with the pictures on the concert cd/dvd, there was so few........ :shy:

Buy it! I don't know if you noticed, but the Live and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face singles also have the same cover, so propbably it's really Then You Look At Me :)

I wouldn't buy it. I was watching the news today. Some guy was trying to sell a ring for $1,000 on Craigslist and three people that were interested in buying it. 1 women and two men. They found out where the person lived and showed up at his families house with a gun. They tied there family up, including there children and held a gun to there mother's head. As the person with the gun was counting 1,2,3 to shoot the mother, the father broke free of the rope and tried to save his wife. He tragicly got shot three times and died right in front of his children and wife. When i heard this i swore to myself i would never purchase or sell anything online ever again. It goes to show how you can never be to safe with your personal information online. If i ever do decide to buy or sell anything online again i will make sure to sell on a reliable site that hides your personal stuff. Talk about scary. :o Not that they would come to your house with a gun just for a Celine item and ebay seems reliable. I just thought you should know that storey. Edited by Angel2006

I want to buy it I'm just not sure how I'd come up with the money, I'm out of books to sell back that the bookstore at my college will buy back :roflmao: I may ask for it for my birthday as an early present from my dad when it comes out, doubt it'll work but its worth a try :giggle:

Celine has sold more than 200 million albums. Probably more at this point. Can anyone tell me how much exactly? To this date.

 

And Celine's singles, how many singles has she sold?

 

If you include everything... Albums, singles, dvd... you name it. Is there a place where I can see all that. I can only find the album sales.

 

I tried to search for a topic, but I couldn't find one.

How did my post suddenly get transferred into this thread? I've been a member of this forum for a few years now, and I still don't know what kind of rules apply here. Opening a thread seems like a big 'no-no' for some strange reason. On every other forum I've been to people keep making new threads because then the topic will be more discussed. And also we get more details on the subject. Not digging up old threads or have one common thread for everything. Not everyone will see this. Someone with useful information is likely to miss this.

 

Thank you, knfscruff. :) That site doesn't seem to have all the information I am looking for, though. This is a Celine Dion forum, you would think I could get the answers here, but doesn't seem like it.
