I will never understand why she never sings OOR since 1997.... like what the heck, it was huge in Europe and went top 10 in the UK, ill never understand it

This would’ve been the perfect moment for her to sing Elton’s “Your Song” (which she rehearsed for the TC tour and we could hear in TTEOTW).. :wub:

Her voice sounds so strong!

 

The energy is going to be fantastic in a festival setting.

 

The set list is strong — even though it’s basically the Vegas setlist, it will FEEL totally different in this setting. The vast majority of folks in attendance have zero clue what the Vegas setlist was anyways! Just us hardcore fans.

 

It will be a great time, I’m sure! Then she can focus on putting together a completely new show for the Courage World Tour!

 

And it would be phenomenal if she sticks around and duets with Babs! A live duet after all these years would be such a beautiful moment in Celine’s career.

If this is representable for the courage tour for the first time i might pass this concert. It Costs a lot and if there is again nothing new i might pass it.

why always the same songs??? it is a lazy setlist and if she really wanted to take a new direction nothing changed! Yes i haven't seen the show yet but like said - she is a singer who does not take chances when touring and lately has more interest in fashion while she could use those moments to rehearse new/ older songs...

Looks like the band is staying at the COMO metropolitan hotel in London, right across from Hyde Park. Have we seen any Celine sightings indicating if shes also staying here? The rooms are in the $400s so I would think it would be fancy enough for her.

We cant take this one off as a representation for this tour. She said herself theyve been planning the world tour for months already, putting ideas together. So dont fret

Oh please no no, no no no! If she has to record a cover she has already done live I vote for Love of my Life as a bonus track.

 

Don't tell me. She recorded a studio version of YTV to be included in Courage album.

I wish she did good rethinking when it comes to her band/orchestra. They should accompany, encompass and enhance her voice, not making a flat wall of noise behind it. The string medly is such a relief on that part. :)

This is NOT the Courage World Tour. This is a one off, so obviously she can't put an entire new show for one performance only. And she will be back in London for the World Tour, so she can't reveal the new show tomorrow! :D

I didn't expect a whole complete new setlist.

But I also wasn't expecting a complete copy of the Asia/Vegas show.

 

This is NOT the Courage World Tour. This is a one off, so obviously she can't put an entire new show for one performance only. And she will be back in London for the World Tour, so she can't reveal the new show tomorrow! :D

She always goes ham for french audiences, anglophone usually get the short straw, not to mention she had a whole new french album to promote from.

If I were attending, I'd also be super excited about Josh Groban. He's such a big part of Celine's English career and has always spoken so highly of her.

 

And he's got a great voice -- which I think will be magical in this setting.

 

What are the opening acts for Barbra???

I know she said the courage tour would be a totally different show - idk about this one. But I wish for atleast a few new songs like she discussed in the interview. Ughh. We shall wait and see.

I actually dreamed all night about this concert. First I dreamed that Hyde park was half empty which was really embarrassing. Then Celine sang 3 songs and had a huge long costume change and everyone got really pissed off and started leaving.

Sincerely hope none of this comes true!!

I am in diamond with my friend. We are planning to get to Hyde park around 5. If I stand around for too long in the sun I’ll just burn and possibly faint (Irish). This will be my 15th time seeing her live :-)
