In all seriousness, can't say I'm not disappointed that it'll be the Vegas/Asian tour show but I'm not surprised. Paris Fashion Week isn't to blame, realistically I don't think a little under a month is enough time for the band and her to prepare for a completely new setlist. Especially for a one off show. They're not going to spend all this time planning a completely new show + world tour.

 

When she said it wouldn't be the Vegas show she was talking about the tour, not BST.

 

I do wish she had dropped BATB and included something else, like Falling Into You or The Show Must Go On. But I'm very glad to have TR and TT back, two of my all time favorites.

Well after much thinking and deciding that I wasn't going to go, (moving house is soooooo expensive!), this evening I managed to get myself 2 Gold Circle tickets for £50 each from a very nice man who's poor wife has hurt her knee and can no longer stand.

 

His loss, my gain!

 

Got to work until 1400 and then going to drive up, reserved an online parking space for £18, and hopefully will be sipping cocktails in Hyde Park in time for Josh Groban.

 

I'm nervous, excited and everything else in between.

My comment wasn’t that related to a disappointment about this particular set list. I mean If this set wasn’t exciting anymore for Vegas, outside of it it is still in my opinion, one of the best compromise and elegant show/set list she has ever presented (if we include the acoustic set of course).

 

Still in a general way this last fashion week for me really put in exergue the whole energy and fuzzing creation surrounding this Gang: Dee Sydney Pepe and Celine. The art, the creation the energy was out of this world. It was exploding in front of everyone and it has been extraordinary to witness this artistic energy.

 

What’s happening here between those four guys look so Precious and rare.

 

And of course I ain’t putting fashion against music definitely not. I just hope that one day she’ll manage to get the same energy and creation team in her musical world. her musical team desperately needs a Pepe.

Looks like the band is staying at the COMO metropolitan hotel in London, right across from Hyde Park. Have we seen any Celine sightings indicating if she’s also staying here? The rooms are in the $400’s so I would think it would be fancy enough for her.

It took me a while to figure out what song it was. First I was like "wow! will she take on Believe!".

 

I so would like her to drop everything she doesn't care for and take in fresh songs (for us and her) that inspire her - from her reportoire or even some covers and make new arrangements and extend the string medley onto other tracks….

 

How many concerts have she done now with "what's expected of her"?? Come on break free, breakaway.

well, I kind of expected the vegas setlist with a few extra songs thrown in, as we get, like TT, TR and ashes, so I'm not really disappointed. But the prince medley isn't necessary, it should gone, the rest is fine, and maybe it's not the full setlist yet...

Some of you, many who aren't even going to the show, are calling this disappointing before it has even started. You seem to have forgotten the magic of seeing Celine live! Maybe because you have had the chance to be in the same room as her many times (looking at you US kids) that you can't remember what it is to finally, after years of waiting, see your idol, right there on stage in front of you!! Don't get me wrong i'd love to hear her sing the Courage album top to bottom, or even mime this version of TT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idpKrDiubiw (the best version ever) but i'd also pay good money to hear her sing the Chinese alphabet in French underwater while yodelling....so please, a plea from a poor Irish gay Celine fan to you......... stop crapping over something i've been waiting MONTHS for!

For a festival that's sadly a total snoozefest. If it was up for me I'd easily cut BATB, PQTME, YATV, TLYM, Backup singers medley - total waste of time just skip a costume change and save the audience from this segment, K + PR, OTR.

 

And replace them with:

 

SFL, Reveal, RTD, Misled, LIAWN, OOR (it's the UK ffs!) and IDAN.

 

And add homages to some UK artists end with Love of my Life and even add in Twist and Shout to add more energy.

 

All these additions has she already done except SFL and Reveal….. It's not like bringing water from the moon. And we'd have a concert with much more energy and still be interesting for everyone, hardcore and casual fans alike.
