I think it’s safe to say that she was probably burnt out without realising it at this stage. Regardless of the syndrome I’d say that her voice is at least rested and more healthy than it was in 2019.

Yep, she was clearly burnt out in 2019/2020. The COVID break was a blessing for her. That's why, I would prefer a Mini Tour concert DVD. I don't know why, they cancelled the release 🤷,

The full version of MHWGO that was posted last year is also slightly different.

Better color and audio, and different angles.

 

You have to keep in mind this is just raw footage. Being there it sounded slightly different, and my bet if this was going to be released it would have been edited like crazy.

It's because those two videos were filmed for promo on TV... so maybe the channels themselves filmed with different angles and captured a better sound...

 

The full concert version that we now have is the raw video feed, probably what was broadcasted on the venue to the public on those big screens...

Most of her performances as from the Asia Tour 2018 to the end is not good to me.

 

I listened to the Tokyo show some weeks ago for the first time...wink.gif wtf.gif

 

She was not in good shape her last 2 singing years...and on top of it, they did 0 effort to make it sound better .

That being said, The Hyde Park show does have some good moments, it’s just a far cry from the Celine of the 00s; but she had literally just done show after show following Rene’s death. I’d love a full release of the 2016 or 17 tour.

Even a Courage tour release from a good vocal day in 2019 or 2020. Columbus, Louisville, San Antonio, Houston, Montreal, etc. I do know there were a couple Montreal performances from 2019 but I don’t actually know how those surfaced. Wonder if those people have more

I think someone people here can sing better than Celine that night

 

This concert was in summer, outdoor she was with jet leg

 

This is a professional shoot, but everything is flat, no post production

 

Enjoy the show

If you don’t like it, skip it

I was there that night and the soundboard doesn’t really do justice to the atmosphere and the sound she made.

I’m so glad that they have blocked it! It’s not great for Celine’s reputation. People who like to bring Celine down will have a field day. I would have loved for this concert to have been better.

Yesterday I was listening the show and I’ve enjoyed BYLM for the first time in a decade

 

If she returns to stage, because you loved me should be the final number, I love the way she deals with the song

 

And LCMM the opening song, this song needs to change place in her shows to earn a new life

I don’t find this show bad. It’s Celine live. Of course she doesn’t sound like in the 90s, but it’s real and honest. She gave what she could that night and seeing it raw is amazing. Im sure that if she took this concert more seriously, she would’ve rested for days ahead and it would’ve sounded much better.

But imagine what a powerful message it would be if she does return to the stage. “Oceans deep and mountains high, they can’t stop us” and literally the whole lyrics. It would all be so fitting. I too was ready for her to retire that song (her most performed ever btw, close to 2000 times excluding soundchecks and rehearsals) but now I really hope she doesn’t. :wub:

So funny this footage is so raw and we all have a opinion about how she sounds.

But I take this over any edited live footage we had the last years.

And in person being there, she sounded amazing!

In my opinion LCMM would work great as a opening number

With the right arrangements

The lyrics are so powerful

 

I like the idea of having an upbeat song as opening number

The audience would love that, remember when she used IDAN back in time

 

Anyway we are tired of the song, cause the song placement is always the same, boring arrangements, maybe the 2 guys can create a mashup

the last decent performance of the song was in 2004 when she was presented with the best selling artist of all time
