Meh I don't really care about this concert. Boring vocally and musically. Plus it's all already available on youtube in good quality. I would much rather a concert from her prime be released. Self titled tour, TCOML tour, LTAL tour english version, etc.

I agree with Kev.

 

Vocally, Celine sounded dry and nasal during this concert. Because of that I am happy we did not get a live CD/DVD from this night, especially considering how all her previous ones have been underwhelming as well. I am referring to 'Une Seule Fois' and 'Taking Chances World Tour' and the infamous 'A New Day' live album (2004).

 

In all these instances there were much better concerts to choose from. 2013 in Bercy, she was on fire. 2008 in Africa, her voice was in top shape. And of course, the 2007 Vegas DVD is so much better than the 2004 live album.

 

We need to understand that every album release has the potential to impact her image or even her legacy. Her team should have been a lot more careful.

 

I don't understand, why they didn't release a concert DVD from the Mini-Tours 2016-2018 (Montreal,Paris, London) and a docu. We know, that they filmed sth.. And even a concert DVD from the Courage Tour would be great. But the missing from a TCOML, FIY concert DVD is a scandal.

This show is and was amazing

The energy

The crowd

Her afternoon/ evening gown look, the dresses, the hair, skin colour

She was really live, a 50 year old singer

Who had sang for non stop around 40 years

 

Respect, she deserves that, she gave her best

The sound quality is….. unpleasant. The sound is flat. Not alive. Too much bass can’t hear other intrumentals. If you guys can enhance the audio by tweaking the eq more on a brighter side and putting a little echo and reverb will bring the sound alive.

 

I’ll try to enhance it on my own. Just try

 

I tried this before because this one before the sounds was flat also. I brighten up the sound by increasing a little bit of treble, put reverbs/echoes.. (ala olympia live album)

The full version of MHWGO that was posted last year is also slightly different.

Better color and audio, and different angles.

 

You have to keep in mind this is just raw footage. Being there it sounded slightly different, and my bet if this was going to be released it would have been edited like crazy.

You do know that the Taking Chances Concert on DVD she went back into the studio to re-record some songs so they were perfect! ;)

 

I always thought that’s what we were waiting on before this one would be officially released.

Not saying it’s the best out there, but there are definitely concerts from 2019 that would’ve been significantly worse. The Vegas concerts from June, Quebec or Ottawa first night, Chicago or Indianapolis, are The ones that come to mind for me

This show, or at least this version of it, shouldn’t be on YouTube. It should be something to be available just in fan forums. Once haters put their hands on it, I can easily see parts of this show going viral with the poorly done playback or some really bad vocals.

 

That being said, as a fan, it’s nice finally see in good quality. I really enjoyed watching it.

Yeah, but the same thing could be said for most of her other releases if it wouldn’t of been for the insane amount of autotune. Your reasoning about the vocals is why I’m glad that Vegas 2019 wasn’t released, at least not May or June date. Edited by Abodi2002
