There’s a video on YouTube of the rehearsal. You should find it easily by searching “Celine Dion Eurovision 1988 Rehearsal”. She wore a blue dress during the rehearsal.

 BUT: That’s a more than valid question!!!! Oh, what a fan would I be, not owning this album!!!!!!!!!!  But let me reassure you! I’ve have the CD since 1992 —though it’s a special edition that was released in Austria by Columbia back then. Until the release of the "Céline Dion” album" there were no CD nor records of her older material available in Vienna (not even after her win at the song contest! But with the hype surrounding the great 1992 album, special compilations of her older material also started appearing in Vienna’s record stores. Partly confusing on different samplers (honestly I never understood that - obviously Sony gave away the copyright to different companies). 

The booklet for this CD is “breathtaking”— 4 pages, only 2,5 of which are printed. —Definitely her most lackluster CD packing! Of course, I could have bought the CD with the original cover later —but I’m not one of those fans who collects CDs in different pressings or editions, because my entire music collection is already so huge. And, after all, it’s all about the music and I do own every recording she ever made.

Hahaha well sometimes you don't know what other fans own, or listen to!  yes that release was quite dull. And the most unflattering picture they could choose for the cover! But still very cool that you actually bought it at the time of its release! It was my first version of Incognito too. But I think I got it around 1997. It took me a while to appreciate the songs, cos the cover wasn't appealing! Lol! But now it's one of my favourite French albums! Heck Partout Je Te Vois was even the song we played at our wedding when we walked down the aisle!

But yeah I am one of those collectors who does want to own every release! I actually have 7 versions of Canadian pressings. And even of the 1992 re-release I have 2 versions: one without SID mould codes (pressed before 1994) and one with SID mould codes (pressed after 1994).

Oh, how lovely to read, that it became one of your favorite French albums and you even chose a song of it for your wedding! I too love the songs on it, there's a deep inner connection to them - mostly because I was so "starving" for Céline songs I hadn't heard before 1992! But with Incognito and the new "Celine Dion"album I totally dived into the beauty of those songs: They hold COUNTLESS memories of that phase of my life!!! Whenever I hear one of those songs it's like opening a bottle of perfume, and all the pictures of love, joy, pleasure, heartbreak "are coming back to me"!!!

OHHHH YES! Of course I do know that there are hardcore fans of complete different leagues!!!! So, let me ask you: How many warehouses do you own to store all the different releases?  - Just kidding!!  But, what does a "SID mould code"? And why is it so special to collect those with and without? (Sorry, if this question might sound stupid!)

With help of google, but to explain it: "Mould SID Codes (Source Identification Codes) are 4-5 digit alphanumeric codes starting with "IFPI" that identify the specific pressing plant machine used to produce an optical disc, typically found stamped on the clear inner hub. They were introduced by the IFPI in 1994 to combat piracy and are generally found on CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays manufactured after that date."

So before 1994 you would only have a matrix: a string of numbers and or letters, specific to this release. The matrix is visible in the ring of the CD. For Europe it would also usually have : Sony Music" or "DADC Austria" stamped in that ring. Depending on which factory pressed the disc. After 1994, the mastering code and the mould code were added. The Mastering SID codes (IFPI L***) identify the plant that created the glass master, while Mould SID codes (IFPI ****) identify the pressing facility:

Holy sh**!!! This is the "highest masterclass of fan material collector"! Can't remember anyone so far who ever collected the same album with different SID mould codes !!!!!!!!! And for sure I've met some truely collector-maniacs (I don't mean that in a derogatory way!!!!) throughout my life!!!  But, as Céline often emphasized: "I don't do drugs I do shopping!" So: You don't do drugs (at least I hope so - but of course that's non of my business!!!!!!) - you do SID mould codes. And I don't do drugs but search for DECADES handbags, shoes, rings, shirts, skirts, pants ... she wore in the past and present - and I can study new pictures for hours to find interesting labels! 

But Thank you very much for enlargen my horizont with the SID mould codes information. Will for sure check my CD's.

You can see her arrival in Paris in this documentary Envoyé Spécial at around 1:13:07 :

 

She arrived during nightime at 1:00 AM in Le Bourget (airport near Paris), and in the private jet she says that she's here for 2 days. Some fans are waiting for her outside her hotel.

Maybe the pic you posted was taken the day after.
