Yes! The dress is a dream. Custom made by Elli Saab based on TWO (!) pieces of his then Spring 2010 Couture-Collection!

I just think it made the whole show a bit too beige/brown color-wise. That’s what I didn’t like about the late 2017-early 2018 run of the show, there wasn’t much color in her outfits.

 

It always makes me so sad, if people criticize her looks! Isn't her voice, her performance, her being-on-stage the most important?! Meanwhile we know how difficult this time was for her with a (at that point not already diagnosed) disease. Apart from that horrible 2016 where she didn't give herself enough time to mourn and returned so soon on stage with this brutal "The Show Must Go On". It's only vaguely to imagine what have cost here that time. Not showing the mourning to the world. Acting as if everything would be OK. Not even the strongest woman can be strong every time.

I was a bit irritated because I've asked myself if I was doing the "right" thing in re-opening the "CelinishCloset"-Thread. Is it respectful, what I am doing there? I love Céline so much. She gave me so much since 1988 with her music, with her being an "open book". She brought me so much joy!

But on the other hand: She herself gave access to her warehouse, so I guess (and HOPE) it's OK to continue. And fashion is a big part of her art too - so I guess the words I wrote to you weren't well thought of me (regarding her voice and being on stage) - because the MOST important of all is her well-being! She gave SO MUCH throughout her long career to so many people around the globe - and although living a luxury life - but also making a lot of sacrifices which one became again aware after watching the documentary. It will always make me sad when FANS (!!) criticize her. Mainly now, where she showed a very vulnerable side of her life! Or don't stop demanding things of her. But - I guess that's the world as is it. People are as they are. Some are this way, some are the other way. And thank God we can have freedom of speech. Yet, respect should never be forgotten!

Hello, I think the picture with the pink jacket was taken the same day when she was filmed talking about the making of the album "ANDHC". But I don't know the exact date.

The only one I somewhat know from those is this one, I posted it in the rare pictures topic at the time.

Celine with chef Alessandro Carollo who cooked for her while she was in Denver, December 2011.

(Wearing Marc Jabobs I believe).

I have this photo in HQ also, possibly around the time of Eurovision, April 1988 as that is the same Michel Robidas jacket. So maybe rehearsals or just re-worn?

Yes, I knew the dress already - and with the date it was possible to detect the resp. collection of Jacobs. In fact I was also searching the date because of the bracelet she was wearing - one of the many events and one of the many models of Vherniers "Pan di Zucchero" (she owns it in different variants: only diamonds, diamonds/gold mix). I've meanwhile a 13 pages file only filled with the times she wore those braclets. 

And reg. the Robidas-Jacket. No, it wasn't a rehearsal for Eurovision Songcontest (different floor!) But thanks for the idea.

Never seen this photo before, kinda strange for me to see the skirt missing. Also, definitely not from the Eurovision rehearsal. She donned a different outfit for the rehearsal. So maybe just re-worn. (She wore the jacket many times especially during the Incognito era, with the earliest one being in November 1987 at her concert in La Ronde park).

I was answering to Thomas’ questions regarding whether the outfit was worn during the rehearsal or she wore it somewhere else 😁 

There’s a video on YouTube of the rehearsal. You should find it easily by searching “Celine Dion Eurovision 1988 Rehearsal”. She wore a blue dress during the rehearsal.
