isurrender Posted November 7, 2021 at 12:10 PM Posted November 7, 2021 at 12:10 PM (edited) I think her numbers have always been weird ( even in pre-streaming era but for other reasons) but in this time , I'm like WTF ? To me, this is unexplainable but maybe there are reasons I don't know. Céline is always on the edge to drop out of the TOP500 (!) most listened artists on spotify ( excluding Xmas period). How is that even possible? I don't bite the " Céline is not from streaming area" , there are "less cool" artists above her. And her YT views? Example : Misled. Not even 1 million views ( far from it) in ...9 years! I know Misled was not very successfull, but such poor numbers for a global superstar are scary lol ( not even talking about songs released in this era : 10m for "Imperfections" in 2 years! ). It's like the woman has not even a fanbase. It's weird to me. And what her team? Don't they see LCMM numbers ( absolutely ridiculous) and say " ok now we know no one give a sh** of this song , time to let it go of every single show?". Jez. PuraVida Posted November 8, 2021 at 02:54 AM Posted November 8, 2021 at 02:54 AM I think her numbers have always been weird ( even in pre-streaming era but for other reasons) but in this time , I'm like WTF ? I think there is something going on as well. Because she is way more searched on Youtube than Mariah or Whitney, but they get more Youtube views than her. But then on the other hand, if you look at total entries into the top 100 of the Billboard chart, Celine is way behind some artists that we would not even consider on her level. I will try to find that graphic, if I can. Quote

When you look at other older artists (Madonna, Mariah), their channels invite you to watch the music videos (in HD,4K),BTS videos and old and new concert videos. Celine's videos are on YT ( for ex. the MHWGO and BYLM videos), but not on her channel.
