A new day has come - When the wrong one loves you right (would be heaven on stage and should have been a single)

Taking chances - This time (if not a single, it should have been performed the hell out of it on tour)

Sans Attendre - Si je n'ai rien de toi (single + video + and stage worthy, knew it after the firts listen) This reminds me somehow of QPVSA video feeling...

Loved me back to life - Thank you (if not a single, perform this live, it screams to be the perfect closing song)

Courage - Nobody's watching (single + video+ perform this live, I think it would creat a great fun/dance moment in the show)

Man there are so many other songs from all her albums of which I could say the same things... like À cause, I love you, goodbye, Cherche encore, I love you, Make you happy, Thankful, Attendre, Ma faille, Change my mind, The chase, En attendant ses pas...

:) and she finally should sing sous le vent and je ne vous oublie pas in her french shows, these are truly missing

I would love sous le vent, je ne vous oublie pas, or also si dieu existe at her shows.

I have to say, I find “s’il suffisait daimer” very overrated. It really doesn’t do anything for me... probably her most overrated song, in French at least. LCMM is probably second lol...in the way it’s performed live, not the studio version.

I often take melody as priority than the actual lyric content.

Me too. I can’t like a song just for the lyrics, whereas I can if I like the melody. Still doesn’t make “Faith” any better to me.

The best is yet to come...

LCMM can go, not because of the performance but it was never a classic or well known song and could be repleaced with an actually big hit and well known song like I drove all night, which is missing in her shows big time

For S'il suffisait d'aimer, I have to say I agree why it's a hit and well known by her french audience. The atmosphere it creates while be performed is quite magical :)

I’m not very good narrowing this down... seems like the point of this thread is to see what songs we wish weren’t neglected....

So in no particular order, these are songs she hasn’t sung —ever, or not in a really long time— that I would like to hear (and believe she’s capable of singing) live:

English:

Nothing Broken But My Heart

I Remember L.A.

Tell Him - a TRUE live duet

If Walls Could Talk

Reveal

Ain’t Gonna Look the Other Way

Thankful

Français:

Avec Toi

Mon Rêve de Toujours

Fais Ce Que Tu Voudras

Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi

Jours de Fièvre

Oxygène

Cherche Encore

En Attendant Ses Bras

Je Chanterai

Ne Bouge Pas

Je Lui Dirai

On S’est Aimé à Cause

**If she sang ANY of these in front of me, I’d be high for days, maybe weeks - or I might just cease to exist.

Very good list. I would love to hear "Avec Toi" and "Fais ce que tu voudras" .... and after she brought back If You Asked Me To, I think the next in line has to be "Nothing Broken But My Heart"

But she did Ne Bouge Pas a handful of times on tour in 2017, right?

“C’est Pour Vivre” is another good one, but she did that one back in 2003 for the Eddy Marnay tribute.

Yup! I just posted how I wanted her to revive "Elle", which she performed at Live a Olympia 1994

She performed ne bouge pas all the way through the 2016 tour, in the acoustic segment of the show :)

Falling Into You: Make You Happy. Because You Loved Me was the only single which sounded like a 1995-1996 song. The album needed an uptempo current-sounding Pop song like this realeased as a single.

Let's Talk About Love: Us. This song deserved more attention and could have given LTAL a new life after MHWGO kept it in the Top 10 all over the word until May 1998.

D'eux: Cherche encore. Along with PQTMAE this is the only modern-sounding song on the album. The rest of the album is great but doesn't sound like a mid-90s record. This song was never performed live, only appeared as a B-side of a single some years later.

S'il suffisait d'aimer: Sur le même bateau. Sounds so much like Jean-Jacques Goldman unbelievable 1995's "Fermer les yeux". This song became my favourite since the first time I listened to the album in July 1999. Great memories.

A New Day Has Come: Sorry For Love. I know it's a copycat of Cher's Believe and she jumped four years later on the bandwagon but this one should have been a single in 2002.

Only Celine thinks LCMM is a hit. It's at the rock bottom of the chart of her most viewed videos on Youtube. ABM should have been included in the US version of ATW in lieu of LCMM.
