I'm on the same boat. I wrote a detailed description of why months back that I can't seem to remember in my current sleepy state, but I think it's earnest, it sounds like Celine really believes the words, and it reminds me of some of the beautiful restraint she shows on French albums.

Cherche Encore, definitely! It definitely stands out, even among all the other heavy hitters of D'eux.

 

I guess my interpretation of "underrated" also crosses over to "overlooked".... songs that were never performed live. Granted, Si je n'ai rien de toi was lipped as so many of her French tv performances are...but I was thinking along the lines of songs that never got the light of day at all. But I also understand the interpretation of "should've been a big hit"

Loved me back to life - Thank you (if not a single, perform this live, it screams to be the perfect closing song)

 

Courage - Nobody's watching (single + video+ perform this live, I think it would creat a great fun/dance moment in the show)

 

 

Man there are so many other songs from all her albums of which I could say the same things... like À cause, I love you, goodbye, Cherche encore, I love you, Make you happy, Thankful, Attendre, Ma faille, Change my mind, The chase, En attendant ses pas...

 

and she finally should sing sous le vent and je ne vous oublie pas in her french shows, these are truly missing

I don’t get everyone’s obsession with “Faith”. To me it’s quite a mediocre song. The verses are nice but the chorus is unbearable! Almost like “Didn’t Know Love”.
