Still anyone doubting videoclips are just essential for new music released today?

 

This is her first English videoclip since 2013s Incredible, and it's paying off! Imagine how different things could have been with a proper video for LMBTL.

 

OMG I love it!

 

A ballad but modern enough to be played on radio.

Could have been a ballad by any other artist you hear these days on radio.

 

Video is fun to watch, think that will help the boost it.

What someone else already said, this time the video is making the song!

If there wasn't this funny video it wouldn't have been noticed this big!

 

But when I thought yes here it comes, power, notes blasting the speakers....

Felt so short, feels like they skipped a chorus or something.

But I guess this is way more radio friendly than 90's soaring powerballad

 

The song is really beautiful.

And the music video has already more than half a million views.

It grows and grows and grows The only thing I miss is a longuer version with a bridge and a climax! I think we all agree on that... There has to be an album version and this looks like a radio edit!

 

About the charts... she's skyrocketing with this single, just impressive! Are we back to 2002 days again?

This video was a exciting surprise for me ( lovvvve the ending- classic Céline!). Céline looks and sounds gorgeous. Some people may not care for the song but I think it's better than Xtina's newly released song . Good Morning America, Rolling Stones and countless comments online were positive about the song/video. I haven't read any of the previous comments on the forum so please excuse if my post is repetitive.

I just noticed there are 2 super high notes she sings in the second choruses' backing vocals. If we ever got hold of the clean tracks

A good video and a good song.

 

She had good songs, lame videos.

 

This is really both, the song is good, the video is epic, combined together = hit

 

If there wasn't a video, or not as funny and hilarious as this one, it would be a different story.

 

I really really hope her team and Sony learn from this moment.

And god I cross my fingers hoping that they will do the same with her next single and album.

A good videoclip can do marvels TODAY to a mediocre (or even bad) song

 

We live in an era of information where everything is visual and shared instantly in visual forms! Music cannot live without music videos nowadays and it's almost unbelievable Céline's team didn't get this for many years ago! But hopefully they'll learn now with the success of this song (crossing fingers)
