If I'm not wrong, the same thing happened to Incredible and they showed it in mid-morning. As I said before, I believe that it will only be a sneek peek. Probably E! will do the same later in the afternoon. I guess the video will be on Vevo soon. On the other hand... I hardly doubt that it will peak #1 in iTunes. Today and tomorrow, Christina Aguilera –who's using a great marketing strategy and there's a lot of hype about her comeback– and Florence and the Machine are lunching new music, their lead singles. Celine's song is just a song for a film, so they will not push that harder. However, maybe if the movie is a success, a performance on the BBMA and a nice video, the song will become viral, but that might happen in the long run. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and it's an instant hit, but I see it much likely just to be another song from a soundtrack. (Chartly speaking) Anyway, I'm really excited to see what kind of track it is!Christina Aguilera's new single is tragic....and "a performance at the bbmas + a nice video" aren't enough for TURNING a song into a viral hit, it depends ON THE SONG....It gotta be pop & commercial...not a slow ballad with a weak chorus 1 Quote
