"Ashes" - from Deadpool 2 - Official Topic

There’s an audio track appeared on YouTube of the music but not sure how official that is. Safe to say it’s a ballad!!

I'm gonna post this in case someone wants to do this lol. After buying the song on iTunes it's better to stream it on some streaming service instead of listening to it from your library so it can gain some streams.

 

If you listen on Spotify, better put it in a play list where the only song is this many times or maybe add a few more if you like, but don't hit the repeat button bc then the streams won't count.Also you must make sure it's not muted, and that there's at least the lowest volume possible on.

 

On youtube just make sure to be logged out of your account, otherwise it will only count as one view no matter how many times you watch. Also refresh the page when you want to listen again, don't press the repeat button on the video.

 

That's all lol you don't have to do any of this so don't come for me if you don't want to do this. I'm just sharing in case someone wants to help Celine with the streams hahah

Kind of sad it's a theme song to that film though, I watched the first film with my ex boyfriend who broke my heart in many ways...I doubt i'll watch Deadpool 2 :*( But I'll enjoy the Celine song, looking forward to hearing it

It says "link in description to listen to Ashes official audio". Clicked it and a got a warning from my anti-virus software and did not proceed. So maybe it's just a hoax and the audio on the video is not actually the instrumental from the song?

Hi there! I ve been reading the forum for years now, I had a different nickname before, so I think it's been now more than 10 years. But i never posted actually but today I felt like I needed to share my excitement with you all! This song is badly needed for obvious reasons (the queen will regain her throne!) but also for personal reasons (going through a weird period of my life, and Celine's songs always helped me coping with ups and downs). Well if this is real I’m liking it so far! Yes it’s a ballad, but listening to it there’s potential for long sustained notes etc. A classic ballad! I like the pause before the end chorus etc. And love that it’s a proper ending and not a fade out 😀

I prefer to keep it quiet. First, I don't think GMA is going to air it at 8.30. If I'm not wrong, the same thing happened to Incredible and they showed it in mid-morning. As I said before, I believe that it will only be a sneek peek. Probably E! will do the same later in the afternoon. I guess the video will be on Vevo soon.

 

On the other hand... I hardly doubt that it will peak #1 in iTunes. Today and tomorrow, Christina Aguilera –who's using a great marketing strategy and there's a lot of hype about her comeback– and Florence and the Machine are lunching new music, their lead singles. Celine's song is just a song for a film, so they will not push that harder. However, maybe if the movie is a success, a performance on the BBMA and a nice video, the song will become viral, but that might happen in the long run. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and it's an instant hit, but I see it much likely just to be another song from a soundtrack. (Chartly speaking)

 

Anyway, I'm really excited to see what kind of track it is!

You know guys I have been reading some forums now etc and I'm really excited the song is coming out.. But i feel people here sometimes put allot of pressure on her and her team. Like calm down I'm excited too that a new song is coming out but breath and don't expect too much than it can only be great. I would love for her to become the number one artist of the world again too.. But what we are forgetting is is she looking for that?.. She is making music because she loves to sing appreciate music she makes and if it's not number one heck that their problem just enjoy her music and stop stressing.. she is human, her team is doing their best.. you don't know what their strategy is.. but as she said once already she doesn't need to prove herself anymore... she is looking to enjoy her career so all this race to make her song number one not needed... just know that everyday you play it at home and that she is your number one artist.. We put these artists sometimes so high on a pedestal that makes them impossible to please their fans.. artists in the world commit suicide due to pressure. of the business, lets be fans and support her and what she would like to do instead of putting on top of that extra pressure and if you can't than don't call yourself a fan..
