Davey84 Posted January 8, 2018 at 09:49 PM Posted January 8, 2018 at 09:49 PM Now that would be dreamy! And if they release multiple versions of a show please don't use the same shots for the common songs like the TC tour DVD's, that was just weird...Yeah that didn't work at all. And again that tour was recorded way too late in time. brandon_vincent Posted January 8, 2018 at 10:45 PM Posted January 8, 2018 at 10:45 PM Europe isn’t even a thought for the 2018 tour! My source works directly with Céline!! It’s already been confirmed that it’s Asia! The Japanese fans already know about it :-) that’s all I’ll say! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Celine owes Dubai a concert from what I heard!! Quote
brandon_vincent Posted January 8, 2018 at 10:46 PM Posted January 8, 2018 at 10:46 PM Ok selfish here I know, but I'm really really really hoping she won't come to Europe this year haha, sorry guys. My Vegas trip is eating up my budget and I can't do European tour as well. Sucks living on an island! But since last year tour was so freaking awesome, I'll probably just close my eyes, buy a ticket, get a loan and say F*ck it all, and go. No way I'm going to let Céline come to Europe and not see her. TBH I feel the same way because I can't afford the Europe shows lol!! If she does Canada I'm for sure going!!! The flight alone to Europe is about $2,000 per person! 2 Quote
brandon_vincent Posted January 8, 2018 at 10:48 PM Posted January 8, 2018 at 10:48 PM The last I heard from my source regarding those European cities was that they were in negotiations, some of which were suspended. All info now is pointing to them not happening and the tour being strictly Asia/Oceania. The closest city to Europe will likely be Dubai Quote
wjd Posted January 9, 2018 at 12:44 AM Posted January 9, 2018 at 12:44 AM If she doesn't exploit her regained European status when this new album comes out, she and her team are damn fools. She might be Celine Dion but we live in a fickle world where you're only as popular as your last record - how she's viewed outside of France isn't the same as how she's viewed in France. She has to work harder for her success when it comes to her Anglophone releases. 3 Quote Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?
Ericwwc Posted January 9, 2018 at 01:38 AM Posted January 9, 2018 at 01:38 AM Indeed it is bigger.... But it is without roof top. If raining then it would spoil the mood though. The new arena has air-conditioning 🤣 But in Stadium Merdeka where she performed during Taking Chances tour, isn't the capacity bigger? Quote

Shamrock_1982 Posted January 9, 2018 at 07:56 AM Posted January 9, 2018 at 07:56 AM How does Celine owe Dubai a concert? She owes a lot of places she cancelled in 1999 a concert... not just Asia’s cancellation in 2014 lol. 4 Quote
browseceline Posted January 9, 2018 at 09:28 AM Posted January 9, 2018 at 09:28 AM Well she probably have new music to perform.... but when that means one or two songs from the new album added to the setlist it doesn't matter much. It's not like they're know for building a setlist around the latest album with songs mainly from that plus three or four greatest hits added to that. And this new Asia tour will probably be a setlist consisting of her biggest hits and a few new songs. Those hits, like last year, is what the people expect.I think they really wait and bundle the concertrecordings for the most perfect christmaspresent of 2018!"As for my dvd dream release... People mention Montreal but i hope to see Paris 2017 as well. These minitours were so good and beg to be released! manu23 Posted January 9, 2018 at 10:01 AM Posted January 9, 2018 at 10:01 AM I don't really see the logic on why she shouldn't come to Europe this year because she has already done it the last two. There are many countries she didn't visit last time and even in France and UK I'm sure there is enough demand for a couple of shows. I don't think she is begging to come, it is probably the other way around, promoters are probably eager to have the top grossing female act of the year back again. But I don't think it will happen anyways, unless Dubai is true and they stop in Europe on their way back. Come on Team Celine, make the official announcement soon please 2 Quote

Those hits, like last year, is what the people expect. It makes sense that this "new" tour ( if it happens, of course) will be just like last year's, with "to love you more" added along with a couple of new tracks if the album is released before. It's like a ww tour split into annual parts. Quote

Celineiac2003 Posted January 9, 2018 at 04:15 PM Posted January 9, 2018 at 04:15 PM Well we can look forward to two set lists as Asia and Oceania are two very different markets for her, her australian leg will probably have the exact same setlist as the beginning of the 2017 tour (Stockholm-Leeds), not copenhagen as that was a special set list. But Asia will be completely different, i can imagine she will have : To Love You MoreThe Power Of The DreamI Want You To Need MeI Love You, GoodbyeA world To Belive In And one regional song eg a song in mandarin in Chinese territorys and probably Watashi Wa Tashi in Japn Quote

With the right arrangement, it could be a great show opener. I dont think she will if im completely honest. I think she will stick to her massive hits as she does in vegas. Like she will 100% have to have To Love You More in Asia if not there would be an outrage, (omg if she got Taro for her two Japan dates I WOULD DIE) The Power Of The Dream is massive, I Want You To Need Me is massive and so is I Love You, Goodbye. She may sing I Love You and Call The Man as they were big too but I cant see her performing Be The Man Quote
