No more Meet and Greet in Europe

I just did not understand... That moment is pretty weird when you receive such mails but in reality there still are M&Gs. And it is your right to be annoyed with it but if you have a big wish you want it to be fulfilled. I just found it not fair. And it not only counts for Céline wishes but in general ;-) P.s.: I'm also wishing for about 10 years.. ;-) It's not that I'm a occasional fan or so.. I'm listening to her music since I was 4 years old, so, basically 20 years and doing 13 concerts in 9 years is not something 'normal' I guess

 

 

 

The M&Gs were supposed to be scheduled one or two days before the concert itself so, I don't believe that there were already sessions being arranged.

 

Also: The main reason for not doing them anymore was that her schedule and backstage activities were too busy. It looks like the complete opposite then.

 

Not all m&g's were/are arranged 1/2 days before. Some were planned further in advance. The same goes for in LV.

Bercy 9/7 was great! The audience was wild and I loved that. Although, I do have a complaint... When I left Bercy, I was passing by the stage where she sings PQTME and guess what I saw..? Yes, I think about 8 people with a M&G sticker on their breast.... By that stage. And before singing that song, she gave one of the guys a kiss on the cheek. And I was like: WTF..? How so to tell all the fans that there won't be any M&G while she still does them? It's all total bullshit. Also a few pictures appeared with a little child who seems to be in some choir or something? I don't understand it at all.......

 

I saw it as well but the people there are private guests of Céline Linda and Alain were also sitting there and René-Charles and his friends sat there for the first night at least. I think the second as well, I missed seeing them since they arrived after Veronic Dicaire. So the people there aren't regular fans, it's people she knows.

 

But she did honor the auction meet and greets I know for sure and that's good.

I received an email, informing me that celine wouldn't be doing any m&g in Stockholm, and of course, I was very disappointed. But was more disappointed the day after the show to see m&g picture from the previous day on twitter

They only send them a couple of days in advance I think (got one for Lille the day before). Haven't received mine for Berlin either, but I won't get my hopes up

Last year I know several fans that got a rejected M&G and Team Celine asked them for their address. Then they received an autographed picture 2-4 months later.

 

I really hope they do the same now. Part of me doubts it though

Wow you've taken all this quite badly haven't you. There was no guarantee you'd have gotten one. It would have been worse if people on here were still getting them and you were refused.

I've never had a Meet and Greet, and I was seriously praying for one this summer, it was almost, no it WAS causing me anxiety, I wanted it THAT badly. So yeah I was pretty upset.

 

Sure meeting her for few seconds outside her hotel and finally getting a selfie softened the blow and sadness.

 

But please send us an autograph Céline, please!!

 

I don't think I can have enough autographs lol. I have already received one addressed to me from Céline and then 2 in Paris on the cd's I brought. Plus one on the drawing on from the VIP packgage (that one wasn't personal like the others). I still want another one lol.

My personal one is in a frame, it needs another frame next to it

Oh yeah totally agree with you! But getting these few second were seriously precious to me, the closest I've ever gotten to her and will always be special to me.

 

But yeah, to get to meet her back stage and get a professional photographer would be EVERYTHING!

No one, including me, was telling you how not to feel or not what to say.

There's not that much of a difference between the two experiences- only a professional photo. And from what I've seen of people's selfies etc they're just as nice, sometimes better because they can often be more spontaneous or close up. Yes it's ok to want to experience both situations but you always write like you've never met her. And I know there are people on here who never have. That's why they wait for hours on the off chance of meeting her outside hotels.

So I saw a message that Céline will not be able to fulfill the meet and greet requests for Célines Europea Tour.

There are too many backstage activities impacting Célines daily schedule, particularly her pre-show preparation.

 

And it's signed by Team Céline.

 

 

If this is true, well I'm very sad about this VERY sad

edit again: fans are now receiving emails from Team Céline, so this is confirmed
