No more Meet and Greet in Europe

I literally just sold a rare piece of my Celine memorabilia yesterday to be able to afford another ticket ( which I got last night ) to hopefully give me another chance to finally, possibly, get an opportunity to have a m&g with her.

 

I hope they change this as the tour comes to an end as I'm attending again 1 month today or I will be totally devastated!

Even if you sold a piece of memorabilia, it;s not the end of the world. Sheesh. There are more worse problems to have like not being able to afford a meal?

I'm sorry but Celine is in no way obligated to give a M&G to anyone who bought a ticket.

 

If the sole reason of going to more shows is to have more chance of having a M&G, I think you're going for the wrong reason...

I didn't say that... as I will enjoy the show regardless but, at the same time you can only put a request in for a m&g if you have a ticket and let's face it she's not often in the UK so why not.

 

In Vegas she does loads of M&G's and quite a few of those chosen seem to get lucky quite a few times in this "lottery" so by stopping this for fans in Europe now all together in the middle of this tour after already giving others a m&g, would be a slap in the face to those who also applied for the priviledge/opportunity for the show/city that they are attending.

 

And if it is true, the same should then apply to Vegas when she returns.

Uhm...Name one other artist who does free M&G's? Especially so many?

Isn't it amazing that she does this out of the kindness of her heart (she REALLY doesn't have to), even if we don't get to go?

I have never had a M&G, and of course I was a bit disappointed when I received the mail, but I really don't think Céline owes me anything except a good show (which I paid for and which I'm sure she'll deliver).

I agree with you and you quoted me up there, about it being a terrible decision. Well I don't think so anymore. I was just really disappointed yesterday and in the heat of the moment I probably said and thought a lot of stuff. And yeah I rarely see stars give so much to their fans that wait outside their hotel. Céline is incredible caring towards her fans

Well actually

1) touring and residence have definitely and obviously not the same constraints.

2) Celine owes nothing and does what she wants. If she does m&g that's great. If she does not, that's ok.

Yeah but she didn't sign the first night. It was I'm sure mainly to do with security etc. And the trouble is, once you do something others may try it the next night and so on. Think she was just trying to prevent a security nightmare. Look at how it all escalated during ML in 2008. Europe is very different now compared to then. But I'm pleased that it didn't happen again. Well not during the clips of shows I've seen anyway lol. She probably just thought I might as well do it the next night lol glad he got his autograph but he did come across as a bit.... can't find the correct word lol

I didn't think she was rude at all. I think she might have been a bit annoyed by him. I thought he was annoying as h*** and how he acted like they were the only two people there but she was trying to make him aware that there were MORE people there. She didn't need to do this at all for him.

Hi hi hi My name is Nat. I'm that Thai guy. I never thought she pissed at me or anything. She was the kindest and coolest DIVA on this planet. The reason that I didn't get her autograph from the first night because I was in the fourth roll which was not a part of the signature package. What would happen if she signed and then there were people who purchased that package. She did everything with consideration to every fans. The second night now I was in the front row,was a part of the package, right next to her. I did not yell or say anything to interrupt the show. I just show a very small sign said FROM THAILAND. That's how she saw me and after she began to talk to me about I'm from Thailand for her then I raised up my LP so she asked me what do I want her to do with that LP. There were lots of Londoners and people from every places that didn't know me before yelling "sign for him!!!" It was the most beautiful moment in my life because people were so kind to their total stranger. Moreover, during all that's happening I was so close to Celine that I can see her eyes closely. I didn't see anything but kindness and playful. If she pissed or getting annoyed I would definitely saw it. Can you imagine while she signing my LP she even look right through my cellphone camera and make funny face to my camera because she knew I was crying the whole time. She could give my pen to the security staff instead of choosing to tell me to drop that LP and throw my pen to my hand because she wanted me to have that moment that I would never forget until I die with her. After I said to her "merci beaucoup" she said " c'était mon plasir, it was my hornor" can you believe someone so famous like Celine Dion said that to a normal guy from far away with that phrase. I don't see anything but kindness. So please please please don't EVER underestimate Celine Dion. She was the coolest person on this planet. What I am trying to say is it wouldn't be nice for the fans that purchased the highest price ticket that would receive her autograph with the package but here I was from behind them and get it signed right in front of them. It would be a different story for fans who waited for her out side the hotel though. If has time, I'm sure she'll sign as much as she can. About the front row on 21st, I think it was fully booked from what I remember. I hope you get it refund as soon as possible, my friend=)
