She went from getting a Celine gift and saying "it's meant to be a secret" to proudly gloating about having a piece of gum from her lol. The $$ around the gum are funny.

 

I wonder if Celine knew it was for Adele.

 

Well, that's the chief accomplishment of Celinaissance. What use to be a "guilty pleasure" is no more. People are proudly proclaiming their Celine love in a way that would have been unthinkable for the "in" crowd in the '90s. And I think it's primarily the elder millennials driving it, as they are now the ones in positions of power, creating content, writing articles for influential publications, etc., supplanting the "too cool for school" dudes who did it in the '90s.

 

 

So much love for each other and still no collaboration :(

 

Would have loved to see this 73 questions with Céline back in her celinenaissance

I am exactly the same. I’ve googled it but can see nothing. You’re literally the only other person I know having this issue lol 😂

My issue, for a couple weeks now, is my iPhone plays YT videos as soon as I open a thread, without pressing play. It’s exceedingly annoying because it automatically stops wherever else I might be listening to.

Haha, yes! Though I’m lucky enough to still be remote. But would be awkward in a meeting seeing as I work for a completing label! 😬

God..it is so weird..Sia and Celine are just stanning each other everyday yet haven't done a collab(not writing or doing backvocals but an actual duo), and Adele and Celine too...f*** it Celine requested Adele to sing a song with me. How does this never happens? Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Labrinth she loves so many people. They always give her a song but do they ever wonder to do a duo?

Nah! It happens sometimes there’s a glitch in instagram. So, you think your followers are unfollowing you but after how many days it will go back. Instagram glitch :)

I just adore Adele.

She has the great mix of humbleness / confidence that Celine has always had.

And I think it's wonderful that she chose to highlight the Celine segment of the Vogue questions on her social media.

She clearly remains a huge Celine fan -- and it's wonderful to have one of the most popular names in music right now cheering for Celine.

She also said that My Heart Will Go On is the song she sings the most that's not her own.
