I have to say, I miss seeing photos of Celine and Rene together.

I know she’s doing all she can now but that natural smile/ glow from her face is gone.

 

She had a way about her aura with Rene at least in video and pics, her goofy self and the loving wife who would rub his cheeks etc.

I wish her the best but to me she’s clearly still more broken than she claims, just my thoughts tho; I’m no professional.

I agree shes still very fragile to me and there isnt that natural glow and smile she used to have when Rene was here. Her happiness to me is now more of just trying to be strong but before it was just a natural happiness that shined all the time. God i miss Rene so much. I wish he was still here. They were the greatest team

Thank you, I love seeing pictures and videos of them together. I miss seeing Celine playing the clown and making Rene laugh so hard. I miss seeing her reach for his hand and touching him all the time. I would love to see the pre show LV sign again followed by the words 'bye mon amour'! Mind you, I am just a fan who admires them, can you imagine what goes on in her head and heart? I am just so glad that she has her boys to hold on to.

(P.S. If you're not familiar, he cleaned up at the last Adisq awards, and his fabulous album, Darlene, got 3 nominations (in main categories, too!) at the last Junos - the first time that's happened for a French album since D'Eux.)

I don't think I'd appreciate not being able to even take pictures at a concert. It's a great memory to have, especially if it's an artist you're a huge fan of.

Well, Pete's the one running, and he'd have to make it through the primaries first (and it's a massively crowded field!)

That said, he's doing surprisingly well in polls, seeing as he came from nowhere. But he's ridiculously impressive - I won't post here since it's getting seriously off topic, but

. :) (I mean, he speaks 7 languages - including French & Norwegian - and is a concert pianist... just a complete antidote to the orange one.)

Another interview with Coeur de Pirate, this time in French. She talks quite extensively about her love for Celine in this one (starting ~2.15min). Says that her favourite song is Incognito, along with all the songs with JJG, that they're "the foundation of her existence" :giggle: .

Notes she has met / spoken with Rene before, but says again that her 30th birthday wish is to properly meet and hug Celine. :)
