They also said that Un Peu De Nous would be a live release, that they would broadcast last years show on French tv, etc etc... people do not know anything. They are just speculating as always, like the discussions about Celine's relation with Pepe , her children, her mood, that she is still mourning because of this or of that.... we know nothing, she shows us what she wants to, and if we get a DVD or an official recording the only way to know it is to wait an official announcement of TC. :)

 

That's true. And we all love to speculate :)

I wish it would stop actually. We have no proof whatsoever that she is dating anyone. As weird as it would be for me if she was, if we do find out this is true, while it will fee odd to me, I know Rene would want her to be happy and find a good man gain. Although, what's with this guy being around my age? Interesting. Also, yes, love <3 the ending of Encore Un Soir. And yes, she DOES indeed have some amazing english songs but the public is quite stuck on the select few. I do hope that is changing, though!

What's more interesting than his age is his pansexuality. Maybe that's why Celine dates him. There is no commitment. Only episodes of fun. Maybe he's just the type she needs/wants right now.

They could record the show and put your channel on youtube or rent it online to watch on youtube just as they do with some movies, they will make money in some way and it comes out cheaper than putting a physical DVD in the stores.

Exactly!!! I'd totally rent it, or better, digital download! It doesn't have to be on a physical DVD.

 

I wish we could buy all her DVD's as digital download. I just bought a new copy of A New Day because I can't find my dvd. And I've got Une Seule Fois missing as well. Didn't find a copy in Paris. Would be so much easier if we could buy it from celinedion.com and download

Much easier, more economical, faster, until they released the full show on youtube, they would be making money and making a profit.

They could be doing so much more with her releases with the technology and Internet and social media outlets, but they don't. Dvd's are on their way out!

Hey everyone, I'm back on the forum after a month or so... I didn't feel like checking up on the progress of the tour knowing that I wasn't able to get hold of Glasgow tickets after the Manchester situation... Well I have a lot of catching up to do on here as I finally got tickets! So happy 😁😁😁

 

Also thanks to alison_loves_celine who really helped me with her rare ticket sightings!

Oh my!!! I didn't realize the end was tomorrow. It's gonna be so weird to not see Pepe with her. I kind of wish they keep it. They could always put IACBTMN somewhere else. I'm just curious to see what they'll do. I understand why they wouldn't, but in the short span, Pepe has become almost a tradition!

I kinda hope so! That may shock people as I didn't love it at first lol they were practicing through the whole first part of the show, so who knows. I think the crowd would go nuts for it, even if they didn't understand the song.

I'd love that but doubt it.

It would be too much for the English-speaking audience, most of whom are probably not at all familiar with the song and don't understand it (and I think understanding the lyrics here is absolutely key to appreciating this; if you don't get the sensuality in the lyric you'll probably think this is just gratuitous sexuality on stage, while in fact it's just a perfectly appropriate representation of the song).

Given that she has rarely sung more than 1 French song in English concerts, it would be seriously odd to keep this one at the expense of other, better known and more MOR ones.

But yes, despite all of the above, I'm still hoping they'd keep it. Or maybe add some dancing elsewhere, since she's clearly enjoying it (and why would she be spending all that time with ballet dancers if she wasn't genuinely interested?)

She performed Le Ballet during the FIY tour. Also, D'eux sold something like 250,000 copies in the UK and hit the top 10 album chart. Quite a few British fans are familiar with it. Plus, we like risqué stuff. She should definitely perform it in the U.K...it would go over well. But not the US. Nooooooooo.

I don't understand why ET JETAIME ENCORE in English isn't performed it is personal and still one of her best English versions of a French song that she has ever translated, it also has a very meaning and could be done acoustic very easily, it's a wasted opportunity to bring that song to the stage for her English fans. Sorry to be a tad off topic but all these EJTE videos made me think of it lol.

There's one french show still. Nice - France, today.

The last show of the tour is august 5th.
