Tons of HD vids on youtube of tonight's concert and Marseille was a great crowd. She seem to be enjoying herself much more tonight. The dancing in A Vous, the emotions in JTE, and her vocals were really solid to the end.

 

That's funny because it's not my impression at all. I found she sang absolutely great but for me she wasn't in the mood. Like she used to say 'like Robot" because she had to do the job. No emotion , so she had to overrate every grin every tear. Too many " you look gorgeous, Il love you, I don't want to leave you". The crowd was quite long to get warmed up.

 

it's not a complain. There are sometimes concerts she is not in, it happens ( tiredness or else) and i think yesterday concert was one of these

She spent a ton of time outside the hotel with fans tonight - in a really, really great mood, signing autographs and chatting/laughing with everyone. Love it!

 

And when the fans are this calm and respectful - I absolutely love it because it really gives her the chance to enjoy them all. Seriously blown away by how much this woman gives. Amazing on so many levels.

I have yet to see a picture with any fans in the UK before or after any of the shows ( not including M&G's )

 

It's not all about Paris on this trip!

Am I the only one that SCAR makes me feel so depressed. It's not artistic either IMO.

I think the song has many levels and feeling depressed is absolutely normal. There is a nostalgic vibe all over it which can make you feel sad. What I feel when listening to SCAR is the determination of Celine of how beautiful her relationship with Rene was, to me the song stands more as a declaration of enduring love than anything else. So it mostly puts me in a romantic mood. This is all subjective though. I find the lyrics to be poetic, which contributes to the artistry of the song. Musically, the studio version is a bit predictable, but the live performances are definitely more interesting. Celine was very emotive singing it, especially last night.

She will go to Spain. Pepe has already convinced her.

Her voice is in amazing shape! By this time, last year, she had already shown signs of exhaustion. This year she seems to be getting better and better! Her stamina is remarkable!

I have to agree that with some songs she has perfomed so many times, it's hard to tell if she is into them and really moved, or if they just look "staged" at some point. Certain gestures, mannerisms, the final cry she's been adding to EJTAE since last summer tour... it's really hard to tell, but I do think all of them would come more genuine if she didn't do this kind of marathonian tours she has become accustumed to do. When she didn't perform that much, the performances were way better and natural than today. No one can deny she sometimes looks as if she turned the autopilot mode on many songs and just wants to move on to the next song asap (when she wanders the stage as if she was lost = bored lol) Edited July 19, 2017 at 09:44 AM by Javito

But even in Paris it looks like you have to be quite lucky or to camp outside 24/7 to have 'a moment', and I don't blame Celine, there is security matter, she needs to rest, though she is usually very generous and after all it's fans' choice to stay outside and wait

They actually don't make alot of money on those releases. It's the touring that makes the whole hog wash.

For example. She changes her singing with some songs that much that they end up being unrecognisable, compared to the studio versions. I'm still shocked how fast she got tired of Refuse To Dance, apparently (she only respected the original version for a couple of shows, three at most )

 

I've been saying this since the first year of A New Day. If she renewed the setlist each 2-3 months, and revamping it so she doesn't wear out the songs and herself. But it's been a lost cause.
