Can't agree more! Couldn't we just being happy with a DVD, regardless wich shows were filmed?

I know but everytime they are going to put out a DVD, its always something wrong. Like the hair or they cut songs or they pick a night when she is nasal. And they never seem to fail. It's remarkable really.

You're right, and I understand your point of view. My problem is, that everybody was asking for a DVD for months, and now, when there is a big big chance for a release, everybody is complaining because of her hair, or of the wrong shows being filmed. I was there in Berlin, that show was just stunning, and I would be really happy, if we could get that show on dvd. But, if we get the London show, I will be also satisfied.

No, you said that "you're going to be super angry" in your post, and I don't think thats fair towards Celine or her team IMO, thats all i'm saying. Even if they put a sign, it doesn't mean that it's a promise of a DVD. They could cancel it at anytime, The same they have done with EUS video and AND blonde DVD. Thats why I said dont get your hopes up then you wont get disappointed.

 

Well I am going to be angry. I don't think that's wrong. It's how I feel. I mean I had given up hope but to see a sign that said they were recording for Tv/DVD purposes and then get nothing I think any fan wouldn't be happy. Angry is the word I used because I'm just frustrated with this whole situation. I just feel like since Rene died we haven't gotten much. I mean before it felt like we always got something even with her Vegas contract. (Perhaps I shouldn't have said super angry but honestly I wasn't thinking when I wrote. I didn't think anyone would read into it much.) Now I just feel like her team is super narrow minded. I am sorry my first post may have come off a bit harsh but I guess I felt like you were attacking me. I apologize. I realize things get cancelled but I'm allowed to have wants too. I still am not saying either owe me anything just that my opinion of her team is that they are playing with us. Perhaps I am wrong but I needed to voice my personal perspective of this issue at this point

They could film every show and then take the best performances from each show but who is going to come up with that idea? And who is going to determine which performance of the song is the better? If you propose it is Celine, we can just forget about it. It's what frustrates me about her. No artistic involvement whatsoever in her own releases. Yes she fell, but it was a playful kind of a fall though. It looked like she was just fooling around and fell on purpose pretending to faint. I think it happened right after performing Le Ballet. In my opinion, I think she was pretending to faint, because the performance was steamy and she was just being funny and pretending to faint from Pepe's good looks, or the intentness of the performance that she had just done.

 

I saw the video on instagram somewhere. It may have even been posted pages back on the forum. It's nothing though. Totally not a real fall in my opinion, just Celine goofing around as usual.

And then make sure to have a huge fullhd/4k televisionscreen. Would look amazing! Btw maybe they put the show on a paid channel first before releasing it..

I'm so annoyed TCOML, THLAL and M won't be part of the DVD. Ugh!

I surely will miss TCOML too since it was a real treat and one of the highlights with this tour being a song that hasn't been performed live in ages and sounded sooo good live....

 

But it's always like this... always something missing in the releases. I am glad TT still have a chance though!

Regarding getting more when René was there.. I actually think we have seen more of Céline in the past year than ever before. 2 mini tours, 1 CD, 1 compilation (with official instrumental) lots of TV interviews last year, FB live, Instagram, twitter. And all this since May 2016 when she first appeared after Renés passing.

There was a filming crew following Céline on July 9th at the hotel. Probably filming for the documentary.

 

And again, probably only for the french audience

Maybe I'm naive, but I can't imagine, Céline has no voice in the release. I accept, that is not she, who decides about everything, but she must have an opinion, and she must care about the quality of the releases. So, if is ok for her, that the London show was filmed, with many songs cut, and with not the best hairdo, it's her decision. I understand all the complains here, just I thought it's not really fair, we were complaining for a dvd, and when we maybe will get it, than we are complaining because of it's content.

 

I dont't think as well, filming every show is a good idea, because imo, filmings put plus pressure to her.

 

Otherwise I think it's really bad, that since René's death, she doesen't have a manager, who could organize things. I mean, this tour for me was a little bit chaotic. So, just compare the first show in Copenhagen, with the one of Berlin. Totally different clothes, a lot of songs were cut. So, if you don't know, it's the same tour, you would think, they are two, totally different shows, Why is this?

I never had my hopes set too high for a DVD, but a Netflix-kind-of-documentary would be nice too.

And more in line of what her team thinks ("who buys DVDs anyway").

For the documentary again? Don't tell me in her next tour another documentary? Maybe they only film Major Tour for dvd concert....? But Sur Les Plaines and Une seule Fois both in the same place but shot twice for the dvd release 2008 & 2013

Her English fans ,and there are many many many of them around the world, would love to have a English concert again after so many years, and yet it is again French oriented. Such a shame and stupid decision too because such a dvd would really score! Not a documentary again about her fashion statements and a glimpse of how Think Twice would look when it was in full. ... aargh

I am done with the docu- dvds. She is a singer and while the story of how her life is right now is interesting and how her wardrobe looks and her many fangreetings are..most of us would love to see a full concert! And we paid a lot to see her. A dvd registration is not much to ask..
