I must say I'll be absolutely furious if they suddenly announce Northern Irish dates or dates in Dublin, after buying London and Manchester

Frankly IMO they shouldn't add more countries. Same cities yes, but countries that's just insensitive!

 

Lots of fans are travelling abroad now because she's not coming to their country... so if they'd announce a concert in their country after buying tickets abroad... that would be so cruel!

 

Well the issue is to agree with the different venues. Sometimes it is not possible to agree with all at the same time, hence additional venues at a later stage.

It would not be unsurprising actually that they add some dates later July or beginning of August. Well at least it would make sense as the tour has just one German date and does not yet cover the southern countries (Italy or Spain). Poland is a big Céline loving country too. So would be logical to get a date there as well.

I'm hoping she doesn't do quite as many shows this summer as last summer! And hopefully she'll have a bit longer a break between the end of the tour and start of lv. Her voice was tired, and she deserves a break too!

I just can't believe how positive the UK media have been about Céline's upcoming tour... at the height of her career she was known as a warbler, big nosed diva, anorexic... now we're seeing headlines like "Céline is coming to the UK and it's setting our hearts aflutter"... I love it!

 

Yeah I know. It's wonderful to see and hear! In The Sun paper it was so positive. It was very much "one of my all time favourite singers and I can't wait" scenario. About frigging time if you ask me! 😂

Exactly. That's why I said "almost never" considering an English career spanning almost three decades. Doesn't her team trust in her capacity to sell tickets in this countries? C'mon! She's an icon all over the planet

I'm expecting a show in Ireland and maybe even Scotland and or Wales also. It was the same last summer, keep adding extra dates. The demand has been amazing! Far greater than the TC tour.

Her appearances on Jonathan Ross showing how funny and normal she is and her incredible performance and huge crowd reaction to her on Xfactor in 2013, not to mention her icon award last year and how she dealt with a Renes death have really made people respect her and the younger generation are now aware of her!

 

As you said, it's well over due, but lovely at the same time!

I just spent 800€ for 4 tickets for Berlin on July 24th. Can't believe it - but Céline is worth every cent. :clap:

I think it comes to more than the "capacity" to sell tickets. Mostly it's a money thing and sometimes also a security issue.

That's fab - so happy for you and welcome! Have been trying to book via Amex all morning and had a few problems, but finally got 2 tickets for MCR in the lower tiers. Am really happy but bit gutted because I was initially assigned good floor seating and then AXS website crashed out and I lost those seats . . . just made up that I will be there anyway!

It offered me tickets this morning in I think section B row U on the floor in Birmingham, then crashed on me just before the last step of the payment! Finally got tickets this evening but they are in section E, essentially row 40ish as opposed to 21. Glad to tickets but a bit disappointed they are not as good as what I could have got this morning if it wasn't for their rubbish website!

Have to agree on this. It will take a lot for me to see her in Berlin, and adding any closer country would be just unfair...
