Thanks for the heads up, I missed out on the TC pre-sale for Brum. I will try on Tuesday morning using my Dad's Amex card. I was thinking I'd have to wait until the venue pre-sale on Thursday.

Presales have a selection of seats across arenas so it is worth buying if you can get what you are looking for in terms of locations/prices etc.

 

It's also good to get them booked in presales when there is less demand from others trying to buy.

 

When they go on general sale everyone gets access and it can be difficult to get on the websites let alone get the tickets you want.

 

However, decent seats are reserved for the general sale so you could get lucky and i'm sure extra dates could be added which you could take advantage of.

Damn, I wish she'd do Canada again. But to me it's way too soon to do more French dates. But if she sells out, allons-y.

But for me, I'm spending the summer in Quebec again----so no luck for me.

If there happens to be shows in English Canada, which I doubt, you'll have to make sure to attend.

 

I might, for the first time, not watch any videos or look at the set list etc. It'd be nice to be surprised!!

I didn't look at any videos or the setlist for last year's mini tour. It's the best thing I ever did. When I saw her in Montreal opening night I could barely contain my excitement and literally was at awe the entire night at the surprises that kept coming.

 

I'd be happy with ANY song from her English back catalogue that's never been performed before to be honest.

 

Imagine hearing something like "Faith" or "Reveal" or of couse the Holy Grail that is "Then You Look At Me."

So Viagogo is a resale website, not an official seller of tickets first hand at face value. The tickets on here have most likely been bought in the Team Celine fan club presale and are now advertised at higher prices as people panic buy thinking there will be no more available.

 

Presale tickets are not cheaper but you want to buy from an official website first hand eg Ticketmaster, AXS etc on presale or general sale otherwise you will end up playing inflated market rates and making touts happy and rich!

This is in general always very peculiar. I remember going to Vienna concert in 2008 with my ticket for the last row which I bought from official seller, because that was the last good one, but actually just before the concert saw people trying to sell first rows tickets and nobody really wanted them cause all fans had their tickets already. It ended up with many many seats actually empty as they didnt manage to sell them lol. Mustve been also not very pleasant look for Celine

Is it an idea to do a setlist poll and somehow send our suggestions to Celine or Scott or Kaven? I think it is good to give her fanfavorites. It might change give her ideas! And i would let her know that we in Holland love Think Twice for instance. It was a huge hit here. And i think that's the way it is also, same for a new day has come.

It's always a risk since you don't know what kind of tickets there are on sale. But IMO, if you don't try for pre sale and wait for the main sale, you might loose any chance of getting tickets because they sell out really fast.

 

I had my small "adventure" when buying at the Team Celine sale. I got a ticket behind the scene at the side (no way!) then far away, then it was sold out but I kept trying again and again and got tickets to row 11 and 13 (4th and 5th of July). I of course wanted closer but decided to buy the seats because it was basically sold out.

I was telling someone I work with that I was going to Paris/Montreal to see her last year and that they would be French shows. She thought I meant that she sang her English songs translated into French!

 

It is a fairly embarrassing trait of being British, assuming that the rest of the world will function in English if you shout loud enough.

But, with this upcoming concerts I see also a lot of Belgian people react like: Previous year was only French and bla bla... While it was announced that it was a Francophone tour! And now they're upset because now she's doing an Anglophone tour and in the Netherlands, lol! So, I guess it's everywhere. Anyhow, I'm glad to participate at this upcoming leg of concerts! I've been waiting for so long... For an English tour to come.... Haha!

I have to say after two french tours i am really really excited to see her in English too! But i have to say in 2013 she conversated in english in antwerpen as well and she had some english song too. But last year was different. Not a word in english. But yes i knew it would be like that.

I totally agree with you! A French concert is nice to hear for once but, I was in 2013 as well in 2016 by both concerts in Antwerp. The comment I was making was about the concerts in 2016 and honestly, maybe it was kinda 'surly' from her to speak only in French while she knew that there were many Dutch fans as well. No offence, it's my opinion! In 2013 she even said 'Dank je wel' (thank you in Dutch). That's very nice. But yeah, I became fan of her in English so, I am also really excited to attend the English tour as I never will make it to Vegas... For the money I will spend there for a week, I will see 5 to 6 concerts from her, haha. Hope to see you in Arnhem as well! 2008 was a nice concert as well. And I also totally agree with the fact that I also hope that it won't be a copy/paste work from Vegas. Allthough we can't ingnore the big hits, I hope she will surprise us.

I have to agree again with you. Well, I was looking for a seat by the presale but, I couldn't find a matching seat with my expectations so, I'll go on the general sale this Friday. We supposed to go with three people but, the seats only began from row 14 and that was in my opinion too far away. So, now we will go and take a seat alone to get the best view. Unless there are three good seats available but, it seems to be that it's going to be a hard fight. Also since I have to book tickets for Lille, haha.

oh okay. Well I am always all by myself haha But I know some people here , from the forum and I usually see them during the concerts or meet them before, so i Always have a good time. And this time I will be so in awe because I have a 4th row seat in block A!
