This has been my dream since I was 13 (I'm 22 now). She is wonderful. I have so much love for her. And she looks amazing. Also, I was so surprised at how funny she is in person. When I've seen her making jokes at shows on YouTube, I definitely didn't realise this. And she's so free and comfortable on stage. I mean I already knew this, she's Céline! But it was incredible to see. And Véronic was AMAZING! Do not skip her! From where I was sat/standing the crowd tonight was brilliant, and I'm sooo glad. She even let us sing the 'wherever' note in MHWGO haha which I'd never seen her do before. I couldn't distinguish her voice clearly from the crowd's in the final verse of that song haha. Black and white works amazingly well, she looked so incredible on stage during this and it sounded brilliant. As did Love is all we need - and I don't even like the album version much! I had no idea she was gonna go to the back stage for the final encore. It just so happened that my seat was right in the area where she stood. I stood on my chair (felt bad but many others were doing it and I had lost all self control by this point), and she saw me! She looked right at me! I did not expect that to happen tonight. I can't even explain how much I loved the show and how kind she was to the crowd. Since I got out of my home station I've just been completely overwhelmed with emotion. When you're there, you don't give a monkeys if one or two songs have been cut. It's a wonderful experience. Also, the production and the lighting are stunning. Fantastic. I also loved going by myself. It was great that way, just as I thought. There was a lovely old man next to me, also on his own, who was a laugh and had some great stories. I am gonna have so much love for her my whole life after this. 20 Quote

Maybe she does attempt to get in character after all. By the way, IMO what I said before is not even subjective. I think we all hear a HUGE difference in her vocal approach when she sings RTD and then LIAWN! And, to be honest, the most underwhelming performances during these concerts were Taking Chances, Loved Me Back To Life, Love Is All We Need and LCMM/RDMH of course. Not saying they were bad, they were good, just not up there with the greatest performances of this tour. I feel like she is nailing every other song! 1 Quote

Feels like I am listening to two different singers singing, two different worlds really. You and I both know they won't cut "Love Is All We Need" just so she can sing "Refuse To Dance" in full. They'll do it "for time" or some other lame excuse. "Love Is All We Need" really could be an amazing moment in the show if Celine would just dedicate herself fully to the song. That means singing the second verse, not just wandering the stage during the song, removing the wannabe M.J. stuff, and Scott boosting its tempo up a bit. Plus, better visuals would help, too. Your comment about adding choreography is something I thought of as well, but it won't happen. There is a lot I like about this tour (eg. "That's The Way It Is" being sung in full), but there is a lot which could be worked on. However, due to the short amount of time the tour has, especially when compared to the length of the "Taking Chances World Tour," I just don't see them making any changes to it unless it's to cut songs. 1 Quote
