Interesting...so do they let the crowd stay standing at the stage for MHWGO or does it get all hectic and they try to get everyone to stumble back to their seats? lol

This 100%. I'd gladly see Immortality return in lieu of Paganini.

Of all the duet songs she's done with Barnev, my list goes, Incredible, I'm your angel, then Beauty and the beast.

 

And mine's the other way around! LOL

 

No BATB is a bit of a shocker though! I mean, a lot of people go specifically for that song, it's one of her first / biggest hits and such a classic, so it's a brave omission.

 

Well, really good to see TT, Sad about no RTD. But thankfully jazz section is intact.

Prince I could take or leave. Kiss can go but Purple Rain (though ideally an abbreviated version...) can stay for her "guitar" solos et al. That's the only thing that song is good for IMHO. (Though she can certainly do the same vocalizing or some version thereof on some other song...I'd welcome that!)

I'm so curious as to why she lips the end when she can clearly do it on tour... :hmm:

Even with that change this setlist is so lame Compared to the tour.

 

The jazz medley and Prince medley have served their time!!! That acoustic medley is a great way to kill the vibe in each song. I'm alive and andhc is decent acoustic but at least ttwii needs taken out and throw something else instead and have that sang in its normal arrangement not the shortest of all 3 songs in the medley. Remember how excited the tour crowds were for this song. I was hoping they would see how loved this song is.

Maybe not a classic , but IM YOUR ANGEL is charts wise and commercial wise, ALSO one of her biggest hits of all time. It spent many weeks at number one. Whether we hate to admit or not.

I feel the acoustic medley would work better with songs that are not uptempo so it doesn't kill that energy. Really wish Stand by Your Side and other ballad-like songs took their place. Then we could have TTWII and ANDHC instead of the Prince medley.

Yes. The Oprah 1997 medley showed how great ballads in this format would work. She doesn't utilize her current uptempos well enough as is to be wasting them in a medley that just sucks the life out of them. I could understand if she sang a show of all uptempos but that's not really the case.

I wish she would close the show with a song that just simply features her vocals and the piano again. I feel TCOML would work great...

SHE WAS ON FRICKING FIRE TONIGHT!!!!

 

Her voice was out of damn control. She sounded amazing.

 

I never liked I’m Your Angel, but tonight with the orchestra and THE VOICE. UNBELIEVABLE.

 

THE FACT THAT SHE DID THINK TWICE I STILL HAVE NOT RECOVERED.

 

The fact that we’re going to get an English album with this voice quality is astounding. I still cannot believe it. I’m still RECOVERING from tonight. Wow.

Loved her hair color!!! Finally a bit darker!

Loved the new dress!!

 

Loved to have more new songs and dresses but ah well... haha
