I agree I thought he was a little rude and very self centered! He seemed very into himself and God bless Celine because she's one of the nicest people ever but he shouldn't have been ordering her band around like that! It pissed me off because she let him up and next thing you know he's singing! I thought Maria from 2015 who sang the ending of Immortality was way more poised and classy than that guy who went up on stage yesterday! He wasn't even really that good! Sorry for the harsh cruel comments but I didn't like his attitude!

that segment was 10 minutes long, some of them very painful to hear. The worst was when she let him finish Because you loved me, took him 40 seconds just for that. His voice a reminder of nails on a chalkboard.

I agree with you!!

 

If I was in the audience I wouldn't have liked it at all! I would have been there to see Céline finishing her songs.

I agree I thought he was a little rude and very self centered! It pissed me off because she let him up and next thing you know he's singing! He really wasn't all that great, it was ridiculous to take up that much time as well. I also thought it was extremely uncalled for when he announced "this is her singing to Rene" in the middle of his 'song'.

Guys can I just say that Celine rocks to let her fans do that but her fans who go on the stage are taking advantage of her kindness! I think it's sweet but it's a security risk and it's rude to the other fans who get told no!! You get what I'm saying! Like Ramona meeting Celine backstage is great and all but there are two sets of standards. I think no fan should run up on the stage and I think Celine is being very kind however I think it scares the bodyguards! I mean think of all the other fans who wished they could have done that!

Other way around. Céline clearly wanted her microphone back in Maria's case, but Maria wouldn't let her. While this guy maybe come across as arrogant, Céline actually invited him, wanted him to sing, etc etc Kudos for him for going all the way!

 

It was just harmless fun, can't believe how jealous people/some fans can be (not talking about you Tim)..

As much as the show itself is getting boring with no new song addes, I have to admit that I would go only for her... she's is so funny and it seems something is always happening on this stage!

 

Nothing compared to "A new day" or the first years of "Céline".

 

And I think she is making fun of the guy after he sang.. asking for natural whatever note . lol

I only go for her and the monologues now. I don't record the songs much at all.

Arrogant. Actually couldn't listen to it all. Then skipped to when he was asked to sing the last line of BYLM with the audience. Nope he just started adlibing. 😝arrogant and probably only went to the show to try and do something like that.

I only watched through to see Célines reaction.

 

And the BYLM, omg he was such a show off! common! ugh.

 

And no I'm NOT jealous because I can't sign and would never want to be pulled up on stage to sing lol. I already feel sorry for the people next to me in Paris this summer :giggle: I might just mime with Céline so that I won't get killed.

I'm far from jealous. I'm happy for anyone that gets to interact with Celine on any level. I'm impressed if someone tells me she waves at them. However, Celine explicity explained how it was to be done, and he just kept going...and going. It would be one thing to show off that way if he was good...buuuuuut, he was not that at all.

I feel that "this guy" definitely comes across as ballsy, but he has some vocal skills & musical knowledge (poorly displayed tho).

Maybe it was stress, as he desperately kept trying to pitch his song to her(weirdly unprofessional approach, given the context; Her tolerance level = beyond amazing on every PR level!).

Maybe it is also a culture thing, as in some countries people tend to be loud, bossy and overconfident.

He defo lacked some manners and couldn't ore wouldn't follow her instructions. I think She was intrigued and wisely tried to see beyond the stress and imperfections.

I also dislike people bringing up Rene all the time, as a friend would; I barely tolerate the same question in interviews, over and over again...It is polite to ask how one is doing, but it is her right to bring up the topic.

Overall, tho the song might have potential, not a moment I wish to replay and I hope it is a "how not to behave" lesson for those willing to approach Her.

Yes! I wrote a whole album for her which I will perform in full tonight after BYLM! :sofunny:
