This song is so huge! Not so robotic like Zaho's song and so creative. Definitely a single for me!

I think this starts off fabulously well...until it hits the overproduced chorus and even more robotic bridge. Could have been really stellar - pun intended! - but the production really ruins it, so bit of a wasted opportunity.

It has the most plays on spotify, and is the second most popular song from the album on spotify (at least the US one). Maybe this will help guide them to this as a second single?

Yes! I was waiting for someone to start a topic for this one! My definite favorite on this album! Love the message, her voice, the way she pronounces and sings some words and the happy feel and tempo... Magnifique! :w00t: This should be a single!

The only part that's annoying me in this song is the bridge where they put too much effects on Celine's voice. But I love this song anyway, It's one of my favorite on the album and I would love if it was chosen as the second single. This one or "Ma faille" :wub:

 

But I think it's gonna be "Les yeux au ciel" since Celine recorded 2 performances of the song for tv shows :down:

Why not? Light-footed song. Free of cramping. Maybe a little too much - some call it overproduced - electronics. I like it anyway very.

After reading the english lyrics I have awhole new appreciation for this song. It's sooooo her. I would love this to be a single but would be ok with Les Yeux au Ciel or Ma Faille, either one!

beautifully said! I can't get over it!

 

In my opinion, there is no overproduction and nothing robotic about this song. It flows so easily and also could be even longer. After the final chorus I still want more!

 

The best single material for me.

In my opinion, L'etoile is this album's version of Le Miracle from Sans Attendre!!!

 

Oh god, I hated "Le Miracle". One of Celine's worst singles ever. The only thing good about it was Celine's look in its video.

 

L'etoile is a true gem. It's fresh, poppy and modern. And I love those strings (or whatever they are) in the background.

This is my favorite on the album!! It sounds so happy and uplifting. Now that I've read the translation, I love the message behind it too. I've needed some positive encouragement lately. Thanks, Celine. :)

Still hoping it's the second single. It's SO good.

 

It's a bit like Destin or JLD of this album. So uptempo, so uplifting, you want to dance and sing along. It would transfer a great message :wub:

I love this song. It makes a good mood. And gives confidence.

I hope that this song will be used as a second single in re-release of her album around November. L'étoile - so confident to sing before Christmas about stars, is always a good thing...

 

I only miss it a bit, that the song at the end does not have any high notes. A bit more Céline-Temperament in the last refrain would have paid more personality and distinctiveness something to the song.

 

BUT ITS A GREAT SONG. Fleet-footed and yet not banal. And the voice is even more awesome.

Now we need a few live perfomances, and an amazing summervibe video! Maybe a sort of storytelling video! And sing it in Vegas.

I'm happy that this song will be the next single. I definitely prefer Grand Corps Malade songs than Zaho's songs ...

Plus, I find LMELE very well written, poetic. This guy has talent to write poetry, and Celine 's voice renders it well.

It's good that one of his songs can be promoted like this.
