Well, in my opinion choosing that song was "genius-manager René" last terrific move: Choosing a nearly forgotten tune of Céline's beginnings for this funeral. He KNEW that this would draw attention to the "Melanie"-album and to the first records of her! And he gave me also a last big present - although it was very hard saying goodbye to this terrific human being - but it was wonderful re-discovering all the hidden gems of her first albums!

Oh I didn't remember that story... The last part "it's your voice in the night whispering I love you" makes me think of René actually... When he wasn't able to speak, so it was possible that he whispered "I love you" to Celine. Her voice in this part breaks my heart.

I didn't remember that sotry either. What a neat thing to do. The way she sings that in the final chorus breaks my heart cuz you know what she was thinking about there...it's soooooo obvious and hard to miss. This song seems to be the most about him, although they all are!
