Alice Posted September 1, 2016 at 12:24 PM Posted September 1, 2016 at 12:24 PM This song has grown on me immensely. I love it. 2 Quote
Javito Posted September 1, 2016 at 07:20 PM Posted September 1, 2016 at 07:20 PM Okay. Plus qu'ailleurs is great guys. This is a great song. I don't know if it's the best opener or not, but the melody of this song is perfect, so hauting The use of the accordion is a new instrument in Céline's repertoire and it's also a plus to me. I have no idea what the song is about, but when I get the lyrics and read them carefully, I'm sure I will love it even more 2 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
garçon Posted September 2, 2016 at 02:41 PM Posted September 2, 2016 at 02:41 PM (edited) O my god. There's actually a clear noise throughout the song, especially apparent in the beginning. Both in the record uploaded to Spotify and YouTube. Haven't checked the CD and LP yet. YouTube link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzIIB1SBE6Q It seems even more present on Spotify though. Amateurs. anewdayhascome Posted September 2, 2016 at 03:38 PM Posted September 2, 2016 at 03:38 PM For me it's amazing! And I'm strongly convinced that it's a great opener! It's evolving slowly, it's not boring at all, it's a good teaser for the whole album, it makes you wanna listen the whole thing. The lyrics are beautiful and Celine's adlibs are beautiful I would love a whole album with Celine and guitar. It's rather calm and perfectly flows into L'Etoile! 1 Quote A New Day... 10th & 11th November 2006 Taking Chances World Tour, Antwerp 13th & 14th May 2008, Kraków 28th June 2008 Celine 25th & 27th & 31st August 2013 20th, 23rd, 24th, 27th & 28th September 2016 Sans attendre Tour, Paris 1st & 5th December 2013 Encore un soir, Paris 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th June & 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th July 2016 Live 2017 Stockholm 17th June 2017 Lille 1st & 2nd July 2017 Paris 8th & 9th July 2017 Berlin 23rd & 24th July 2017 Live 2018 Taipei 11th & 13th July 2018 Manila 19th July 2018 Bangkok 23rd July 2018 BST Hyde Park London 5 July 2019

Alice Posted September 3, 2016 at 05:47 PM Posted September 3, 2016 at 05:47 PM I think it's one of the most poetic songs on the album. "Et se fondre jusqu'a devenirUne seule et meme silhouettePareille aux fils d'argent qui suivent les planetes"  5 Quote
ajguerras Posted September 6, 2016 at 02:54 AM Posted September 6, 2016 at 02:54 AM I think this is the most honest song she has recorded in the last 15 years, I feel her comfortable, natural, not pretending anything... And I like it a lot... The only problem I have is that, as an opener song, it shows nothing about how the album is going to be. And if someone judges the album for the first song would be sooooooo wrong..... This should have been the last song, or even a deluxe track... 2 Quote I need someone to loves m like Celine loved René... And just like she sang in LTAL track # 16, I ask for that exact same thingwww.twitter.com/ajguerras
LukeD Posted September 19, 2016 at 10:25 PM Posted September 19, 2016 at 10:25 PM why is a song you can remember necessarily good and one you can't bad?For the life of me I can't get some crap songs out of my head and others I can't remember but I can rediscover every time I listen to them..Did I say a song you can remember is good and the one you don't remember is bad? I simply pointed out the fact that the song lacks a hook. I now consider it average to good because I got used to it. Quote
LukeD Posted September 19, 2016 at 10:28 PM Posted September 19, 2016 at 10:28 PM The use of the accordion is a new instrument in Céline's repertoire and it's also a plus to me. LMEL used accordion too and in a more obvious way! Quote
Boy Posted September 24, 2016 at 03:16 PM Posted September 24, 2016 at 03:16 PM Finally fell in love with this song... Took me a while but here I am playing this on repeat. Quote Love comes to those who believe it...
