Sorry to say, but judging by the promo Video I don't like this song at all and I don't understand why such a song is the first track of the album.

 

I would much more prefer a 2016 version of "Encore en Encore" that she performed with this guy on Lete Indian in 2014

I listened to the behind the scenes once... And I know I'm gonna love it. I love her acoustic songs and it sounds like she does some soft runs!

General consensus seems to be noo great for this song, but I loved it the instant I heard it. The more I hear it, the more I love it. I respect that others have their opinions, and as for me, I think it's awesome!!!! <3

I like it, too. A decent opener for the album, it's not abrasive nor too memorable. The question is, will it be a single? If not, I believe it will be her first non-single french album opener.

It's not super catchy and poppy but that's why I like it. I enjoy the acoustic and relaxed quality of the song very much, especially how she ends the song. The guitar plucking is great as well!

This song is so beautiful. Quite frankly, the simplicity makes it for me. Her vocals shine, and just make it one of those songs that is amazing. I honesty adore it, it's different, but it's so good!

why is a song you can remember necessarily good and one you can't bad?

For the life of me I can't get some crap songs out of my head and others I can't remember but I can rediscover every time I listen to them..

At first I did not like it, and was really disappointed by Francis Cabrel but I think this song is growing on me...

I love the rhythm and the music but I still can't stand Celine's way of singing, especially when she says "encore" at the end of the chorus. She's done it many times before both in English and French but I can't understand why she chooses to sing this way making her voice sound awful while it sounds so beautiful in other songs such us "Tous ces choses" or "A la plus haute branche".

I think it's a good opener to the album. It's definitely not my favorite but I enjoy the melody.

I actually like the song, perhaps people dont remember it because it is like a long sentance that last 4 minutes LOL, she is like telling a story without breathing, yes is not a song to sing along, but I think it would be a great song to sing live, just Celine and a guitar.

The issue with the encore is that it sounds she is getting out of breath hahaha

At the end I really like it. I listen to it when iI want to listen to something diffrent from this album. Its a song that stands alone. Not immediate of course. Don't like the melody after the first 50 secs but the music is really good and even her voice (well not always), but the fact that it's not altered makes it a worth listening song. I think it gives the album a touch of greatness. It makes it more relevant.
