Wow. That's not surprising, but I wonder a lot too. Why that song? Hopefully we'll see something good tomorrow.

She is promoting a french album and single that IS being released inthe us firthe first time in who knows how long... it just doesnt make sense. In my mind. But its ok, im sure i will still love it anyway. 😀

There's a radio edit on the physical single. I'm wondering if they're going to release that version since she's promoting it in a way?? If so, seems like this will be another song on the upcoming English album. Assuming it's not a bonus track that would make 2 songs we know of already selected. Given the personal significance the song had for her and Rene seems kinda obvious as a choice with the themes they've been going with for the French and English album.

Don't get me wrong but Fallon is very famous and trendy, if she did an epic performance tonight, it could have a big impact with some writers and producers like it was with River deep mountain high in 1994.

I'm sad that some of the comments i see like in TMZ they said that celine's face is hard to look and she looks tired. Her makeup in paris fashion week is really great it's not tired looking actually she needs to work again with her makeup not just in outfits and now i believe that celine is wearing a wig in her paris shows because now that she's not wearing it's like she lose some of her hair. The more she performs TSMGO on TV the less special her BMAs performance feels. Unique moments should be left as such.

 

Wrong, BBMAS are not famous as they were in the past... and people who watch BMAS are not necesseraly the same for Fallon

I remember reading that the BBMAs this year saw their lowest ratings and I agree that performing the song again and again will lead to awareness. But the more TV performances she gives the less special the BMAs performance is. A performance that is bounded with the Icon Award and her emotional acceptance speech. Such a unique moment! Something else that worries me is that Celine has the tedency of performing certain songs (LCMM, RDMH, ABM, DUAM, JOTI) again and again to the point of almost burning them, and I really hope TSMGO does not follow this route. I soooo wanna hear more. It's not uptempo though, at least not from what we heard in that part, which is dissapointing. But it's Pink so it should still be a worthwhile song.

That moment was a defining career and life moment for her and her fans. Nothing can take that away. Just have to remember that it meant more than just the song that night. I do see what you're saying though.

The tools to write an English song for Celine:

 

1.Positivity: Add a general message like ''I am Alive'', ''I am Thankful'', ''I am Recovering''...

2.Spirituality: Add words like prayer, faith, skies...

3.Motherhood: Add words like child, mother, miracle...

 

Yeah, seems formulaic.
