I really loved the L'ADISQ style. The makeup, the dress, the hair (a little bit of work would be better).

 

Talking about the makeup... I hate when her skin is tanned or/and with darker eyeshadows (as always), it don't suit her, she appears a skull.

He is just over the top and people fall for that. Same way Sara Jessica Parker became a fashion icon while dressing like a clown. I barely see Celine, the way I know her, in his outfits. Everything comes off as an over-the-top experiment, sometimes it works but most of times it does not. At least for me. The latest outfit at Gala ADISQ did not flatter her body at all, and it seemed as something Adele would wear. Which is the biggest possible mistake one could make.

I thought it was a queen's dress but how the bum looked and the corset held her body.. yes i prefer her earlier dresses more. Although she really oozed diva that night

The thing with make up and hair is that they have to complement each other. In my opinion, dark hair with a lot of dark make up doesn't work most of the time. With lighter hair, you should highlight and use darker or bolder colors. With dark hair you should go for a softer look on the face. Although there's really no true rules for make up, it's all pretty relative to the person wearing it.

That's called highlighting. It lifts your facial features when the light hits it. I'm sure she still does it.

The reason why you like more the pictures on the right is just because it has great light on her face The blinding camera flashes and the powerful instudio lights are working well on her face too, so that helps to give the impression she's so pale now.

 

And the last picture (from 1999) is not even comparable in quality to the rest of pictures...

Annie Horth was more into elegant/sophisticated/traditional stuff, he is rather into fresh crazy stuff. I like some of his Choices, Not all though

I think Law Roach is into sophistication and elegance aswell. What he dressed Celine in for the Stand Up To Cancer event was very classy and elegant. Also, the way he dressed her for Paris fashion week, plus the recent silver coat she was wearing when leaving the Ritz Carton, before going to the ADISQ gala to honor Rene.

 

We also have to remember that he hasn't been Celine's stylist for very long, so he probably has much more up his sleeve. It took Annie years to be noticed by Celine's fans. I think that most people had know idea that Annie and Celine first started working together in the mid 90's. Annie's work didn't truly start to get legendary and appreciated by the fans until 2005 or 2006.

 

I think people should give Law Roach more of a chance. He's only been working with Celine since the recent mini tour. That is not long at all. We should give him more of a chance to prove himself before we can truly judge his work as a stylist.

3. We have no idea what's going on behind the scenes with the Vegas fashion. Celine is very sick right now, and we know (remember watching 3BAANS) how much time and money goes into those costumes. They have many great options already and they're obviously revisiting each dress to see how it can fit into the evolution of the show (like I said before, I hope they bring back that gorgeous Atelier Versace charcoal gown with the metal strips she wore in Jamaica).

Celine didn't shave her eyebrows, have them lasered or waxed off. Celine obviously had them colored very lightly to match her light blonde hair that she was sporting at the time. That's what happens when you make your eyebrow color really light. They appear almost as though they have been shaved off.

 

I really haven't paid much attention to Lady Gaga recently so I don't know if she still does this, but Lady Gaga would bleach her eyebrows to make them invisible. It looked as though Lady gaga shaved her eyebrows off, but she just had them bleached. Some celebrities do this so that they can change the entire shape and color of there eyebrows on a dime, using only makeup. There natural eyebrows underneath the makeup can go untouched, because you can't see them when they are bleached.

 

Celine didn't bleach her eyebrows, but it's a similar situation. When your eyebrows are colored light, they become very hard to see unless you are in the sunlight or looking at them up close.

One of my favorite looks from Law Roach so far is the Giambattista valli coat and dress from Paris fashion week.

 

I think it was a pretty big fashion risk, but that's what made it so amazing. The entire look could have gone either way, because the print was alot to take in. The jacket being bold print and the dress was print aswell, it could have easily gone wrong but somehow it all seemed to work. Celine rocked that look to it's fullest. I swear, On anyone else, that outfit would have been a fashion fail and would have probably ended up on some worst dressed list.

 

For some reason, clothes just looks so much better on Celine then they do on other people. I don't know why, but they just do. I honestly couldn't picture anyone else wearing that Giambattista valli dress, without it overwhelming there body and looking ridiculous on them. Celine managed to make it look like a true fashionista moment of diva history.

 

That's why that coat and dress is one of my favorite looks recently, because it was an overwhelming print, but she made it look amazing and fashion forward. Only a true fashion star can pull of such feats.
