I love everything about this! It's so fun to see how Céline and Law interact with each other. I have been really impressed by a lot of what they have done together this year. I don't know if anyone else reads Tom & Lorenzo (they're fashion/red carpet bloggers), but they have had some really nice and insightful things to say about the way she has used fashion to reinvent herself and re-emerge this year. I really like how they summed up the transformation that she has undergone while working with Law (they were specifically talking about the Schiaparelli outfit from the handbag launch):

 

"Not to be crass about it, but she’s really embraced style in an inspiring way since she decided it was time to stop publicly mourning. Obviously, one can only apply the life of an international pop star in couture to one’s own life in the broadest of ways, but one of the things we’re really chewing over as we write our style book is just how important and emotionally transformative style can be when you know how to navigate it. Or in the case of Miss Céline, knows someone she can pay to navigate it for her. The point is, she’s emerged from her widowhood a publicly refreshed and energized figure and her style choices have been a big part of that. She used style to pull herself out of something and redefine herself when she needed to. There really is a lesson in there."

 

As Céline said herself in the video, Law has brought her happiness through her clothing, which may sound a bit silly or shallow, but I think it's really been true this year, and really important for her personally and professionally.

....and you can see how much fun she had during the shooting....good to see after the red carpet at the BATB Gala last week, where she seems very sad....

Question #1: where is this sexiness and perfection when it's needed, in her album photoshoots and album covers???

 

Question #2: what are they doing that they don't use this explosion of elegance and sexiness also for videoclips???

 

And this is a statement, not a question: someone called Alix Malka should learn a thing or two after all this array of consecutive photoshoots of her we're seeing lately. This is the ultimate proof that a good photographer with some creativity can have Céline posing in many different ways (the idea of the lipstick as a cigarette is just GREAT) and doesn't need a whole day in a studio to do one hundred of same-smiling-face photos of Céline, when Céline can just come down her private jet and do a great photoshoot inside a hangar within minutes

 

I'm so mad that all her album covers since 2007 are missing this great side of Céline when it comes to photoshoots for fashion magazines. It's not the first time we see another HOT photoshoot like this (remember V magazine in 2012? Elle magazine in 2016?) and it's not used (again) for her music, but for other unrelated purposes

I adore the "Loved Me Back To Life" album photoshoot. So I have some respect for Alix Malka.

But yes, she needs something new now. And pictures like these are really good.

 

Celine needs to shock in a good way and she must do it with her new English music video...

It's incredible how many people thinks she was retired from showbiz until the new "Beauty and The Beast" song.
