I do agree with you on this. To me it seemed like the picture was as you say someone in their most vulnerable state and the vulnerability she has experienced in the last few years was in her eyes.

So, do we appropriately perceive this tandem (Céline + Law) as a "master and apprentice" type, for example constantly repeating that Law did for Céline this or that? After this statement it seems rather like a great collaboration between TWO FASHION MASTERS, whose only limit is "the sky"

a tendancy to give the merit to everyone but Celine, fashion, music, singing...And the merit goes to a man ordinary... That was my feminist statement for the day , thank you.

I'm LOVING all of this amazing press regarding Celine as a FASHION ICON. I honestly didn't see this coming. Last summer was incredible --- but it's really grown to new heights this year.

 

I guarantee this will feed into Celine's music career. Younger, "hipper" audiences will go see her shows / check out her music because they now see her as a trendy, CURRENT Fashionista.

 

It's 2017 and Celine Dion is still on TOP. I'm loving this!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for her.

 

Most importantly, this has been so fantastic for her personally. I'm sure this is helping her greet this new chapter in her life with open arms. This will be fantastic for her new fashion line coming out soon, too. What better way to launch a brand new fashion line than to be declared a Fashion Icon?!! She's a Music Icon and now Fashion Icon. CRAZY!

 

I remember a while back when they mentioned that Celine would be launching a clothing line --- I was like.... I don't think the general public would associate Celine with a fashion brand. But boy have I been proven wrong.
